"Seriously?" Nine asked frowning.
"Yes, seriously." Dom nodded.
"Dom, there's no way you're being serious right now." Michael frowned.
"Yeah, I thought it was something else more important than your chewing." Charlie shook his head.
"You are truly jobless, why would you ask us about that?" Lulu shook her head, she sipped her hot chocolate, she knew her brother was unserious from time, but now, he was just being ridiculous.
"Natasha told me that out of my many vices, the worst one is the fact that I chew loudly, now I need to know if that is true." Dom sounded dead serious, which made this whole thing more ridiculous by the minute.
"You forgot overly childish as well." Natasha scoffed.
"Yeah, and that to, come on guys, you know I don't accept false statements, tell me, do I really chew loudly?" Dom asked.
There was one thing about him, it was the fact that he did not let things go until he got an answer and that was another very annoying thing about him.
"Well it depends, do you want us to be honest?" Michael asked.
"Of course, I would never want anything else than your honesty." Dom said, he sounded confident, mostly because he was certain he was not a loud chewer as Natasha claimed.
"You do chew pretty loudly." Michael said.
"Mhmm, that you do." Charlie agreed.
"Wait what?!" Dom asked shocked, this was definitely what he did not expect to hear at all.
"You do chew loudly." Charlie repeated again as if Dom had not heard him the first time.
"I heard you the first time, that's not true, I do not chew loudly at all." Dom refused to believe that. "Nine." He turned to Nine, if there was someone's judgment he could trust it was him.
"I have to admit Dom, you do chew loudly, especially when you want to eat quickly when you're in a rush." Nine had to say, after all, he asked them to be honest.
"This is not true, you all just agreed to gang up against me." Dom accused, he did not even ask Lulu for her opinion, he knew that obviously she would side with Natasha.
"That's not true, we didn't even know that you and Natasha were talking about such a thing." Lulu pointed out.
"That's true, who knew you guys were talking about chewing." Charlie said.
"Just to clarify, we were not talking about chewing, it just happened to be a topic brought up." Natasha said. "Anyway, thank you guys for telling him the truth." She smiled, it was nice to have everyone on her side for once.
"Hey, hey, I've never heard myself chewing that loudly." Dom said, he refused to believe that this was true.
"That's because people rarely hear themselves chewing loudly, just accept it Dom, you do chew loudly." Lulu said laughing.
"How come no one has ever mentioned it before?" Dom asked incredulously.
"I don't know, it just never came up." Lulu shrugged.
"How nice." Dom shook his head.
"Are you satisfied now?" Natasha sneered. "It's settled, you chew loudly everyone agrees." Natasha said, she was the one out of everyone that sounded the most happy about this.
Dom frowned, this was just too much, he felt wronged, he felt as if they had all been waiting for one day to tell him this.
"Well geez, thanks guys, now every time I chew I am going to be self-conscious about how loud I am chewing." He scoffed.
"You're welcome." Lulu smiled.
"Hey, you were going to find out one day or another." Michael said.
"Mhmm, Michael right, and you should know that we're telling the absolute truth considering that we all agree, besides, I am sure if you ask Joy tomorrow, she will agree with us." Charlie laughed.
"How is that supposed to make me feel any better?" Dom whined.
"It's not." Charlie said as he and the others laughed.
"Whatever, let's move on from this topic." Dom frowned.
"Hey, don't be bitter Dom, you know what's worse than chewing?" Michael asked.
"What?"
"Snoring." Nine spoke up. "No one's a worse snorer than Charlie." He added.
"Mhmm." Everyone unanimously agreed.
"Hey?!" Charlie said.
"It's the truth, ain't no one the worst person to be stuck in a tent with than Charlie." Michael said, he seemed to be recalling some very unpleasant memories.
"It's not that bad." Charlie frowned.
"Oh, it is that bad." Lulu said. "I remember one time you guys had a sleepover, I could hear his loud snores all the way from my room." Lulu said as Natasha laughed.
"Why do you think I have my room soundproofed? That's the only way we can all live together and I won't murder him in his sleep." Nine said blatantly.
"Hey, stop it guys, this isn't nice, it's not my fault I snore." Charlie groaned.
"Relax Charlie, I sat here and allowed you all insult my chewing, so you will do the same." Dom said.
"But that's different." Charlie whined.
"How is it different? It's not my fault I chew loudly." Dom smiled at him.
Charlie scoffed. "You all are unfair, can we talk about something else other than insulting our natural habits?" He asked as he drowned his sorrows in delicious, creamy hot chocolate. It was enough for him to forget that he was upset.
"Charlie's right though, we're going to end up upsetting each other if we continue picking on habits." Natasha said. She did not start this entire debate, Dom did, however, she was not about to let it continue.
"You're right." Michael said.
"Do you guys remember the last time we were all together like this?" Nine asked, everyone noticed that he had been more chatty than he usually was. Which was odd, that only ever happened in the past when Lia was around, they would be teammates, but tonight, there was something different about his demeanour.
"Oh, you're right, I can't remember the last time the six of us just hung out." Dom sighed.
"It's nice." Nien smiled.
"Very nice." Michael smiled.
"Do you guys remember on that one camping trip we went on, and we didn't know that the area we were in was a no camping zone and in the morning we woke up with everything wet and soaked." Michael laughed.
"Yep, I remember, turns out we camped in a flood zone and the rain from the night before filled the river." Dom laughed.
"That was the worst camping trip ever, I was wet, cold, tired, you guys chose the worst spot." Lulu frowned.
"Hey, it's not our fault the sign was covered by a bush." Michael said.
"Yes, but it was still the worst and final camping trip I've been on." Lulu said.
"You know what, we should change that, maybe if we have some time we should go camping." Dom suggested.
"No way, I'm not going camping, never again." Lulu said vehemently. "If there is anywhere I am going, it would be on vacation to an island or a resort." Lulu said.
"Oh really now?" Charlie asked.
"Mhmm." She said.
"And who is going to pay for such a vacation?" Dom asked.
"My lovely parents of course." Lulu said proudly.
"I doubt that, mom and dad are more than satisfied with just going to our summer home, they won't splurge on the kind of vacation I know you are envisioning." Dom said.
"Alright, that's fine, then my lovely older brother will pay for me." Lulu batted her eyes innocently at him.
"Not a chance Louise, not a chance, I don't have the time nor the money to waste on that." Dom said instantly.
"Well you do kind of have the money." Charlie said as Dom ignored him.
"Exactly, you have the money, go on vacation with me, let's all go." Lulu said.
"So you can spend all my hard earned money? No way." Dom said.
"You're no fair." Lulu said as Natasha chuckled.
"What's no fair is you want to spend my money to go on an expensive vacation, you can go on your own and spend your own money." Dom said.
"You know what, I'll just get married to a rich man and spend all his money since my brother won't let me spend his." Lulu said.
"Go on and do it, I can't wait to see you walk down the aisle." Dom said out of spite.
"Alright, that's enough the two of you." Natasha said before Lulu exploded.
"Natasha's right, you two really don't know when to stop." Michael said.
"He started it!" Lulu and Dom both pointed the accusing finger at one another.
"The both of you started it, don't get married to a guy just because he's rich Lulu." Charlie said worriedly.
"I was just joking, there's no way I would do that." She said moved by the fact that he was sincerely worried about her.
"And there is no way I would let her do that either." Dom said, she was his little sister, his only sister, he wouldn't let he get married to a jerk just for money.
