"Hey, hey, don't say I'm not smooth, I am the smoothest one here." Lulu said proudly.
"Oh really now?" Dom asked as he chuckled.
"Yes, of course I am, I'm first, Natasha is second and third is Nine because well you know, he was smooth even before smooth was a thing." Lulu said.
Nine nodded shaking his head, she was right there, he was always smooth
"Oh no you don't. Don't flatter him, he's not smooth at all." Charlie instantly argued.
"It's alright Charlie if you cannot comprehend the level of my smoothness, not many people can." Nine said surprising everyone that he had just said such a thing.
"Yes, yes, I agree." Lulu laughed as Natasha laughed.
"Alright, but hey, why am I number two?" Natasha asked.
"Well because one, you're my sister-in-law, two you're always so cool, especially because you know martial arts." Lulu said with stars in her eyes.
"Awww, thanks Lulu." Natasha smiled as Lulu smiled back at her.
"You know what, I am not going to sit here and allow myself be insulted because you guys say that Nine is smoother than me." Charlie stood to his feet.
"I mean, have you seen me, I am full of smoothness from head to toe." Charlie said moving his hands around his body.
"Ewwww." Michael and Lulu said at the same time while Nine just frowned and Natasha and Dom laughed.
"I need to unsee that, I definitely need to unsee that." Lulu said rubbing her eyes.
"Me too." Michael cried.
Nine just shook his head and kept the look of disgust plastered on his face.
"I think I now know why you're still single." Nine said.
"Oh shut up, you're the one that's still single." Charlie replied.
"It's not being single if you're not looking for someone in the first place." Nine replied.
"Just shut up." Charlie shouted.
"Alright, be quiet you two, I think that's enough for today." Dom said standing to his feet, if his beloved friends continued to be here, they would end up fighting with each other and that would be an annoying, sad conclusion to tonight's gathering.
"Fine!" Charlie said while Nine did not say anything at all.
"Who is going to help with the clean up?" Lulu asked because she definitely was not going to help, she lived here and they had been taking turns to clean the house and do the dishes till Alfred was well.
"Not to worry, I'll help." Michael smiled.
"I'll help too." Nine said.
"Thanks guys." Natasha said as she stood up.
"You know, this did not really feel like a good old g-night." Charlie said.
"We told you it's not going to catch on!" Lulu groaned as Charlie scoffed at her.
"It will, anyway, we didn't have snacks like chips and popcorn, we only had ice cream, which was delicious." Charlie said.
"Yeah, well that's because Joy was still awake back then and even if I had told her she's not allowed to eat chips she would use her puppy eyes to trick you to giving her some." Natasha said carrying allnthe mugs into the kitchen.
"Yes, that and the fact that we've all been so busy that we haven't had time to go out to the store and actually buy groceries." Dom laughed as he walked back into the living room with a broom.
"True, that reminds me I have to go shopping on Monday." They heard Natasha say from the hallway.
"I'll go help Natasha wash the dishes." Nine said rolling up his sleeves.
"Me too, I'm coming, you know I am the best dryer her." Michael tooted his own horn proudly as both Lulu and Dom laughed.
"Of course." Lulu said.
"I guess you and I are on sweeping duty." Charlie said grabbing the broom from Dom. He wanted to leave before, but not after thinking that it would be rude for him to do so while everyone was helping clean up.
"Yeah, Natasha really hates it when the rug is dusty, it makes her sneeze." Dom chuckled.
"And I will just disappear and go to bed, good luck guys." Lulu said as she made her daring escape.
"When do you think she'll change and become more responsible?" Charlie turned to Dom and asked.
"I don't know, soon, I'm not in a rush to see her grow up again, so let's enjoy her childishness for a few more years." Dom smiled as Charlie shrugged.
"How come it's called cute childishness when Lulu does it, but inappropriate when I do it?" Charlie whined.
"I never said cute." Dom said.
"Oh hush, I know that's what you meant." Charlie frowned as Dom just laughed and shook his head.
...
A few days later.
"Joy." Lulu called as she hurriedly put on her shoes.
"Joy." She called again.
"Yes, Aunt Lulu." Joy replied as she rushed down the stairs.
"Joy my lovely niece, I have to go out for a bit to collect a package, the delivery man refuses to bring it to our doorstep." Lulu scoffed.
"So, be a good girl, I'm only be gone for five minutes, don't play with anything dangerous, just watch tv or colour if you are bored." Lulu said sternly.
"Yes, Aunt Lulu." Joy nodded her head cutely.
"Awww, alright, be good." Lulu said giving Joy a kiss on the forehead before leaving.
"Bye Aunt Lulu, see you in five minutes." Joy giggled as she waved.
Lulu waved back and closed the front door. She sighed and rushed off, she had to go all the way to the estate's gate.
She cursed the stubborn delivery man internally. She did not want to leave Joy alone, especially when Natasha had gone out to buy things they needed in the house, but she weighed the options and if she had taken Joy with her, she would be slow and the already annoying delivery man would not have waited for her and would drive away.
Joy walked into the living room and switched on the tv. She had never been left home alone before. There was always someone at home. She got bored of watching tv, then she looked around.
She was bored. Joy got up and put on her shoes. She walked into the kitchen and then into the garden.
"Hello Maggie." She said as she entered Maggie's pen.
"Aunt Lulu went out to face some annoying delivery guy, so she left me alone and I'm bored." She said to Maggie who pecked the ground.
"She didn't say that I was allowed to go outside." Joy said, she was worried that she would get in trouble for going outside.
"Come, let's go inside that way I won't get in trouble." Joy said as she carried Maggie and stepped into a puddle as the sprinklers were on.
She walked with Maggie inside and she removed her shoes in the kitchen.
"Let's go colour in my room." She said as she rushed upstairs and entered into her room. She placed Maggie down on the floor while she coloured on her bed.
Joy hummed to herself as she coloured while Maggie roamed around her room. The chicken seemed to be excited in the room.
This was the first time that she had been upstairs in one of the bedrooms. Maggie jumped up and down, flapped her wings and clucked.
Joy smiled happily, she turned to Maggie and showed her a colouring of a chicken. "Look, I coloured you." She declared proudly.
Joy gasped when she looked down only to see trails of the muddy stains of Maggie's feet.
"No, no, no." Joy said to herself, she hastily got out of bed. She picked up Maggie in order to stop her from creating a bigger mess.
"Your feet are dirty, why didn't you say anything?" Joy asked as she looked at Maggie's feet, she rushed into her bathroom and placed Maggie in the tub.
She washed off the mud from her feet and dried her with a towel.
"Now we have to clean this mess, mommy and Aunt Lulu are not going to be happy if they see this mess." Joy said, she placed Maggie down and rushed downstairs to grab the mop. She also carried the mopping bucket and rushed back to her room.
She put the bucket in the tub and filled it with water. Then she used her conditioner as the soap.
The bucket was too heavy for her to carry out of the tub so she got into the tub and put the mop into the bucket and squeezed it then she took the mop and began to mop up all the muddy stains on the ground.
"You're not helping Maggie." Joy frowned when all Maggie was doing was clucking and flapping her wings around leaving a trail of feathers.
"Stay put." Joy said, she dropped the mop and jumped up to catch Maggie.
"Be a good girl and stop flying around." She said but Maggie did not seem to be in a mood to listen, she continued to flap her wings leaving a trail of feathers around her.
"That's it, you need a time-out." Joy said, she walked into the bathroom opened the shower door, she placed Maggie in the shower and closed the door.
"There, stay there till I'm done cleaning." Joy warned her.
