Chapter 165: All Might's Agency Arc (1)
~Ren Y. POV~
[New Year's Morning, Might Tower, Tokyo, Japan]
After finishing up making breakfast that everyone was happy to eat, it was nearly time for All Might to come pick us up. With everyone prepared for today, we all waited outside as the door opened up.
Ready, holding our bags and backpacks for the day, the doors opened to reveal All Might with a grin, along with his ride. He spoke up in a happy tone, loud and proud, "Good morning, everyone! I'm glad to see everyone is up for the day!"
Toga and Nejire yelled out loud excitedly, "All Might!"
With All Might appearing, he motioned up to enter his ride as we slowly went ahead back to UA Highschool. I took the front seat as the girls talked amongst each other.
As I took the front seat next to All Might, he asked me curiously about the work studies I should intern under in a curious tone said, "Now then, young Yuki! I'm sure you're ready to begin hero work, but have you considered which hero to work under?"
Listening to his question, I smiled as I responded, getting his attention as I said in a calm tone, "Yeah. I'm planning to work and study under you, finally. I've prolonged this long enough, right?"
All Might smiled and widened lightly as he laughed, agreeing to have me work under him in a proud tone, "Ahaha! That's splendid! We'll begin once we return to UA, and after that, we'll begin to work together!"
Nodding my head, I smirked, going to enjoy the small moment working under All Might, the current NUMBER 2 Hero. Time to correct that small mistake with the public soon enough, as All Might will train me as we work.
Time to make up for lost time. And to piss off that fiery bastard. But first, I have to meet up with everyone

~Third POV~
[Later, Gunga Mountain Villa, Japan]
Meanwhile, as the students of UA return to prepare their work studies, another event is happening. Gunga Mountain Villa is a secret base for the Paranormal Liberation Front.
Hawks flies by, returning as a secret agent spy to gather info, and casually replies, "I'm baaaack!"
*Shoom*
Flapping his wings down, he is reprimanded by Slidin' Go for being absent without permission. "Oh? Oh?! And where were you, number three?"
*Fwp*
Flapping his wings down, Hawks casually replies nonchalantly, having an excuse, "Just getting some proper coffee. That black sludge you got here is not for me."
Slidin' Go scolds Hawks, trying to use his imagined higher position to reprimand him, "We can't have you flying around all willy nilly! Next time, ask for permission first! In the Liberation Front, I rank higher than you, Hawks! And I'm older!"
However, Slidin' Go gets into trouble as one of the lieutenants, Skeptic, bluntly reminds Slidin' Go of his ranking in an annoyed tone, "What's this about you ranking higher, Slidin' Go? First, I've heard of that! I suppose you're influential enough to spread the liberation ideals throughout society. Nobody told me you were an important player who could extract intel from the biggest heroes out there!"
Slidin' Go flinches as he grunts, "Guh…!"
Moving forward, pointing his finger at Slidin' Go, continuing his nagging in an annoyed tone, expressing his value of Hawks, "Global tracking! Every communication recorded! Live feeds of his conversations! And what he's seeing! These 20 micro devices planted on Hawks… will expose the heroes! You, Slidin', are a pawn capable of browsing the Hero Network and nothing more! But the Hawks' reach extends far deeper!"
Skeptic then tells Hawks that he has caused quite a big fuss for just a coffee run in an annoyed tone, "Hmph! After, we went to the trouble of stocking up on black coffee."
Hawks replies with a sly grin on his face, casually saying, "What can I say? Some like it sweet."
After meeting up with Skeptic and learning more about the Paranormal Liberation Front, he flew to the sky. He tapped his headphones as he sent his last communication normally in a serious tone, "I finally contacted Dabi. He's still wary of me, and my correspondence with you guys will be monitored. From this point on, all communication needs to be in code. For now, figuring out where the Nomu comes from is the top priority. Over and out."
With that Hawks began to fly above the sky, observing the people down below. All he could do now was wait till he gathered more info…

[Next Day, Might Tower, Tokyo, Japan]
After everything went well for UA returning students, everyone was assigned to their respective heroes. The duration of Winter Break for the students was still active. Most students would rather use their free time to perform Hero Work.
Having a week left before the new term begins, Ren casually walks to Might Tower with Melissa by his side for Winter Break to assist him the best she can. Upon entering the Might Tower, doors opened, revealing All Might as he spoke proudly, "Welcome, young Yuki and Melissa! Great to have you here and now."
Sporting an iconic pose in front of them, All Might spoke in an excited tone, "… It's time for some hero work, Power Ranger!"
Understanding All Might's intention, Ren merely clicked his Morpher wristband as he thought, 'It's morphing time!'
*Shiii*
In a flash, immediately donning their Power Ranger Hero Costumes, both heroes rushed to the field in the Roppongi District of Minato, Tokyo, Japan. Both instantly became blurs to all who view the iconic duo of student and master.
*Swooosh*
Hopping around with All Might through the Roppongi District of Minato, the Pro Hero spoke up as they dashed through the buildings at incredible speeds, "You know something, young Yuki? Not even I possessed that much skill with wielding [OFA] while I was at your age."
Drawing attention to himself, Ren replied as he hopped off another building, being vigilant in the process, "I appreciate the praise, sensei. But thanks to my gamer-like abilities, I advanced enough to always have 50% of [OFA] power at the ready. However, with great power comes great responsibilities along with accountability."
Hopping off another building, All Might nodded, being vigilant in the process as he remarked in a proud tone, "Extraordinary. I think you might've mentioned it before, but it's still… incredible. Anyway, I'm glad we have the time to work alongside one another. If my own sensei had lived, I'm sure she and I would've had moments like these."
Ren simply remained silent, hearing those words as he thought neutrally, 'Probably… shame she had to bite to dust for me to get [OFA]. And the rest of the previous users to boot…'
Refraining from thinking more on the subject, their focus settles on a villain causing a disturbance as All Might speaks up seriously, "But we can discuss this another time. Right now, it's hero time!"
*Swooosh*
Dashing straight into the situation, Ren followed suit with a sly grin underneath his helmet as he thought excitedly, 'Time to start hunting the villains! Those EXP aren't gonna just stay there by themselves!'
With that began Ren's career as a Pro Hero, encountering various villains in this winter break during this week's winter break. But a single thought entered Ren's mind as he darkly thinks, 'I think it's about time to get rid of the Demon King for good…'

[Day 1, Jaku Hospital – Basement League of Villains Hideout, Tokyo, Japan]
*Beep*
Taking the call, AFO copy began to make his plans as he called up some societies. He began to end the conversation, seemingly, putting the phone away, "There. That should keep those pesky heroes busy."
Ending the call, Kyudai nearby brushed his mustache as he asked curiously, "AFO, did you call hits on the up-and-coming hero Power Ranger?"
AFO copy turned as he nodded his head and explained calmly, his arms crossed as he said calmly, "No, Doctor. The boy is growing, showing his capabilities of mastering [OFA] at 50% full power. I can feel it within my Quirk. I'll need to halt his progress as soon as the time for war approaches. But if those assassins can capture him, then even better."
Kyudai nodded his head in understanding as he spoke up in a serious tone, "I understand, AFO. With the boy growing more powerful each day, we'll need to make him slip. Or, at the very least, stall as much as possible."
AFO copy nodded his head as he understood the implication. But his gaze shifted to the operating room, revealing a mechanical pod. He grinned, asking the doctor, "Of course. As for Tomura, how's the process of him upgrading his body?"
Kyudai grinned at this, gazing upon the Tomura screaming within the pod as he replied in an excited tone, "Going splendid AFO. We merely must wait for the process to be done in the next 4 months ahead and implant some powerful Quirks. Before that, though, we must strengthen your vessel first."
AFO copy understood the necessary time needed to prepare Tomura. Observing from above in one room, I saw Tomura within the pod transforming as he thought calmly about the next step. 'With Tomura out of commission for the time, we should probably do something to recover the original. The original should still be within Tartarus.'
As per the AFO copy and the Doctor's plan, another serious event will happen in the upcoming day. One that neither the heroes nor villains ever saw coming…

[Day 2, Tartarus, Tokyo, Japan]
Special Prison For Villain Criminals - Tartarus is a prison distanced from civilization where extremely dangerous Villains are imprisoned and interrogated under the highest security standards possible. The high-security prison appears to be located on an island about five kilometers from the mainland, surrounded by giant walls.
The only access to the prison is a long bridge connected to a city, with the entrance guarded by two or more guards who check every vehicle going in. The gate that stands in front of the mainland side of the bridge is known as 'The Bronze Gate.'
The prisoners are criminals for whom the death penalty is not enough and may be manually kept alive through oxygen masks, IV fluids, and feeding tubes. They are kept underground in a prison where they are watched by a multitude of sensors and guards.
Outsiders can visit prisoners, although their conversations are monitored and restricted, with visitors not being able to tell prisoners anything about the outside world and having a time limit on their conversation. Pro Heroes and police are also able to talk to Tartarus prisoners to conduct investigations.
Two days later, and in a place extremely far from civilization known as Tartarus in the deepest levels of it, lies AFO tied in chains while at the same time being in life support with giant machine guns pointed at him and cameras surrounding the room.

But suddenly, footsteps are heard, and AFO looks at a corner of the room that suddenly turns dark. The Symbol of Fear smiles at that, speaking in a lightly surprised tone, "Well, isn't it surprising to see you here?"
Then, a figure walks outside of the shadows, revealing to be Ren with a smirk on his face, "Long time no see… AFO…"
The Symbol of Fear and the Gamer finally met face to face. One with malicious intention smirked at the golden opportunity presenting itself…
