Chapter 166: All Might's Agency Arc (2)

[Day 2, Tartarus, Tokyo, Japan]
Ren stood in front of AFO with a light smirk on his face as he managed to infiltrate Tartarus. Ren mentally scoffed as he thought disdainfully, 'The most secure prison in the world? Yeah, fucking right. More like my personal EXP farm.'
Tartarus' interior is heavily armored, with blast doors lining narrow, steel-plated hallways. Prisoners incarcerated inside Tartarus are heavily restrained, sitting down on a large, high-tech chair with a full-body straitjacket.
Though nominally a prison, the facility effectively serves as a dumping ground for individuals who threaten or have threatened public safety to a drastic extent. Regardless of sentencing status, these individuals are incarcerated and heavily monitored in Tartarus.
People with a wide range of Quirks are locked within its walls and divided up among six cell blocks, depending on the danger their Quirks represent and the severity of their cases. The more dangerous the individual, the deeper they're kept in the prison. The deepest level of the prison is B10, located 500 meters below sea level.
Sensors are continuously monitoring the vital functions of prisoners, reacting to even the slightest sign of unusual behavior or attempt to activate a Quirk. The aforementioned sensors are also connected to four ceiling-mounted, automated machine guns that will fire on the prisoner if they suddenly move or have thoughts of activating their Quirk.
Tartarus guards also monitor prisoners in a room with several screens displaying the inside of cells, where they are alerted to movement and speaking from prisoners. Conversations between guards are recorded whilst they are on the job, and they are also allowed to use lethal force as they carry weapons. In the event of a cell breakout, guards are allowed to open fire on prisoners should they resist recapture.
The prison has visiting rooms where visitors can speak to prisoners from the opposite side of a glass window. These rooms are set up so the prison guards can observe and monitor conversations between prisoners and visitors.
These rooms are equipped with a microphone to talk to a visitor and computers that can detect and display a prisoner's brainwaves, which informs guards of their state of mind during a conversation with a visitor.
The defensive capabilities of Tartarus are such that All for One admitted that even if Tomura's body was 100% complete and Gigantomachia was with him, they would still struggle to get past its nigh-impenetrable defenses.
However, against Ren with [New Order] and [Radio Waves] interfering with their natural defenses, it was easy for him to slip in. For insurance, he managed to recruit Gentle Criminal and La Brava on his side, assisting him with side objectives in Europe.
But now AFO is wrapped in a straight jacket with metal belts all around him, locking his hands, legs, body, and even neck, just like usual. Still, he had some tubes inserted in his body and a breathing machine; even they had countermeasures against anything that he could use to escape.
The day was as boring as any while sitting in this deplorable cell. That was until Ren came out of the shadows in the room that even AFO bothered to pay attention to.
Ren greeted him, and by the smile on his face, he assumed he was meeting with an old friend. In a joking tone, he said, "Long time no see, AFO."
AFO turned his head towards Ren as he replied in a curious tone of his appearance, "Well, well, well. I never expected you to be here. How did a weak brat like you even get in this place?"
Ren shrugged his shoulders as he calmly replied with a smile on his face, "I'm not a prisoner like you, big boy."
Veins popped in AFO's forehead, feeling unimaginable anger at being treated like that by someone he considered a weakling. But AFO hadn't expressed any of his feelings outside as he cheekily replied, "Hoh! Brats these days have quite the backbone."
Ren, witnessing his response, snicked, detecting his hostility towards him as he replied in a cheeky tone, "Heh, don't get so excited, old man. People might get the wrong idea since I'm underage fucking Pedo Bear."
*Snap*
Ren snapped and brought a syringe containing morphine out of his [Sub-Space], injecting it into AFO's system, which made the villain calm down. This was made to show the villain who was really in charge.
The old monster had no way to resist Ren. But AFO mocked him for such a cowardly tactic in a mocking tone expressing a sly grin, "Hahaha! Here you have me tied up, and you still act like a coward!"
Ren didn't respond and activated [Negation] on AFO, targeting his [AFO] Quirk. Then he placed his hand over his head, activating [Mind Reaper] Quirk from the Pro Hero Odd-Eye. He then activated [Confession] + [Mind Reaper] as he asked his first question in a nonchalant tone, "Tell me everything I need to know how to obtain all of your money. Oh, and connections I could use."
AFO looked at his words in surprise. He began complimenting Ren for having the guts to do this but said instead, "… my social security and my shell accounts – "
AFO's eyes, if any, widened. Disbelief was written on his face as Ren grinned with AFO, revealing everything about his accounts and passwords needed to obtain all the wealth that AFO ever obtained in the +150 years of his life.
Ren smirked as AFO continued explaining everything in greater detail. He was very happy about this predicament, forcing everything that AFO knew out in the open for him to hear alone.
The guards supposedly guarding the gates were standing still, unconscious. The cameras were being played by loop-disabling recording functions at this moment, with Ren using [Radio Waves] + [OFA] to boost the effects.
At that moment, only AFO knew what was happening, and he was unable to do anything to Ren as he grinned happily like a kid getting a new toy for Christmas. AFO, on the other hand, couldn't stop revealing his secrets to Ren as a sense of fear arose from within the Symbol of Evil.
Once the topic of money was over, Ren grilled AFO about everything about the personal connections he had made throughout the world. When he obtained everything he needed from AFO, Ren continued asking important questions with a sly grin ever widening, getting everything valuable from the Symbol of Evil.
AFO, suffering this humiliation and the damages that will be done to his status, gritted his teeth in pure frustration against Ren's violation of his mind by asking honest questions and getting honest answers. For once, the big bad was getting robbed with no justice being done to him.
AFO began to threaten Ren, gritting his teeth in an angry tone, "Know this, boy: Whatever damage you inflict on me today… I will one day repay you 100x worse."
*Shiii*
Ren's eyes glowed ominously as he began to use his [AFO] Quirk on AFO with a sadistic grin, replying, "Oh, you have no idea how right you are, AFO. But let's see how long you'll keep your big talk after I'm done with you."
AFO's expression changed to surprise. Ren then attempted to break into [AFO] singularity mental scape…

Ren soon appeared within AFO's mental scape as he muttered at the desolate with other Quirk Vestiges. Ren smiled as the minds of both his and AFO were connected.
When this happened, the mental realms of both Quirks became connected temporarily, and the current users and the stored consciousness of previous users were shown inhabiting the same mental realm. Ren then sees the vestiges that AFO stole slowly fade away.
Furthermore, since the Quirks are counterparts to each other, the vestiges of the earlier users resonate with the other Quirks and can peer into each other's inner workings, as shown when Tomura and All for One can see the vestiges of the previous users of One for All.
But within AFO Singularity, the vestige of AFO manifested not as his damaged appearance but as one resembling his peak. However, there was a noticeable shift in his expression as he uttered in a cold tone, "… Where is my brother Ren Yuki… WHERE IS MY BELONGING?!! TELL ME!!!"
Ren merely smiled, eyeing the AFO vestige, appearing as he honestly replied, "Got rid of him and the other vestiges within [OFA]. What's wrong, you crybaby?"
AFO glared hatefully at Ren as they stood on equal ground. Till Ren said, causing AFO's expression to break into genuine shock, "I can go wild within my Singularity Mental Scape!"
AFO vestige took a step back, quickly realizing the seriousness of the situation. At that moment, AFO realized Ren's true intention and weakness as he used [Negation] on AFO at that moment.
AFO vestige, seeing his ghostly body crack, gazed at his consciousness psyche as he muttered out loud in a defeated tone, "I see… You came to destroy me completely. Just like how you destroyed my brother…"
*Crack*
Fragments of AFO vestige showed on his body, along with multiple Quirks within his body cracked as Ren explained calmly, "Yup. You, my friend, have a weakness that I can exploit to kill you for good. Your Quirk [AFO] can only give and take Quirks from others; it does not allow the user to destroy the ones they hold, even if they threaten the user's health."
AFO vestige merely looked at Ren with pure contempt as fragmented cracks traveled down his figure. The cracks became more evident as he said his final words to him coldly, "You may have destroyed this vessel. But do know I'll return one day and exact my vengeance against you… On that, I promise you, child…"
*CRACK*
Cracking being destroyed for good only left Ren within AFO Singularity mental scape scoffed at the villain's words, "Tch. You talk too much for a walking sack of balls. But now then…"
[Ding!]
[You have completely taken over the vestige of [AFO Singularity]!]
Ren then began to lift his hand as a shining, ominous, shining red light showed itself as he smirked. As he did so, he dropped the light into the AFO Singularity, changing colors and scenery…
[Ding!]
[You have transferred a copy of [All in One]!]

Ren soon opened his eyes at the unconscious form of AFO. He grinned, checking the new skills he had gained.

After finishing reading the skill list, a moan escaped from AFO's mouth. Lifting his head, he groaned, muttering in an annoyed tone, "Ugh… how the hell does this old man manage to live with these many disabilities? Such a monster this guy was, ain't that right… original?"
Ren happily smirked as he got pop-up notifications and muttered in a confident tone, "I can't believe this worked."
[Ding!]
[You have given the copy of [All in One] to the empty husk of AFO!]
[Ding!]
[Due to having no consciousness of the Quirk factor being eliminated, AFO couldn't withstand the hostile takeover, a duplicate of [All in One] natural properties!]
Ren grinned, gaining a valuable pawn, his eyes shifting to the copy of himself occupying AFO in a greedy tone, "Yup! We pretty much completely robbed this guy's body. Oh, the irony of it all."
The copy merely rolled his head as Ren provided a blood drop in a vial. Dumping the vial into the copy mouth, he gulped, gaining the Quirks contained within as he said, "Gulp! Still, it's the dumbest way for me to regain my Quirks OG. But at the very least, I'll be comfy staying here."
Ren nodded as he turned his back to leave, exiting through the shadows as he muttered in a serious tone, "Yup! If the Meta Liberation Front wants to play dirty, I can do the same, ripping off their boss's head. You're my failsafe when they start coming to collect you, okay? Make sure you give'em hell when they come."
*Swf*
Exiting out phasing through using [Permeation], easily escaping then through a portal exiting out using [Wormhole]. The copy merely hums as he enters his mental escape, training his Quirks and preparing for when the Paramount Liberation Front comes to pick up his old body.

A/N: Bet you guys didn't predict that the MC would take over AFO that easily, huh? Ironically, the MC's Quirk is a best match against AFO when he's pinned down, and out of the two, he's the only one who can destroy vestiges within the singularity.
