"Why would my father send a child here?" Nathan asked Joker in disbelief.
Joker just shrugged his shoulders, also clueless about Old Man Xu's motive.
"Let them in!" Nathan commanded, rubbing his temples.
Joker escorted the men who brought the child. The young girl was holding her teddy bear while staring at her surroundings.
"Is Uncle Vincent here?" the young girl asked Nathan as soon as she met his gaze.
Mr. Hiroshi and Nathan were taken aback when the young girl mentioned Vincent's name. They exchanged glances with one another. They didn't know how they would respond to her question.
Meanwhile, Mia pouted her lips when no one answered her. "They said I could see Uncle Vincent if I go with them. Did they lie to me?" The young girl was on the verge of crying.
"I've been missing, Uncle Vincent," she added, tears welling up in her eyes.
"Nate, you should call your father. I'll take care of the young girl," Mr. Hiroshi instructed him.
