Day Ninety-Six…
"Let's call my Uncle!" Mia declared to them.
She used her phone and dialed Vincent's number. Nathan, Ethan, and Mr. Hiroshi just watched the young girl in anticipation. They wondered if Vincent would answer the phone.
It rang a few seconds before the call got connected.
"Uncle Vincent!" Mia excitedly called him.
"Mia, Uncle is busy right now. May I call you again later? We will see each other in a while." Vincent reassured Mia.
He was now escorting Jane to the helipad. Her body was still in a state of paralysis because of the drug injected into her by Vincent. Her eyes lit up when Vincent mentioned Mia's name.
"Can I talk to her?" Jane asked Vincent pleadingly.
Vincent nodded, putting the phone on loudspeaker mode.
"Uncle! Are you returning home? I'm not at home right now!" Mia's voice echoed from the other line.
Vincent frowned at her last remarks. "Where are you?"
