Hiroshi raised his head to look at the lady at the door before looking down at Haruki, who was sleeping peacefully, unaware of the visitor. He looked back at her and nodded unhurriedly.
She closed the door without another word. Haruki had given his subordinate thirty minutes to return, and it was already time for them to get back to work, but none of them came to knock until after thirty more minutes, when Haruki opened his eyes.
He looked around the office that was empty except for the doctor and himself before calling his secretary. It wasn't long before a knock came on the door, and they came in.
The doctor looked at them as they got back to being busy and felt that he had nothing else to do there. He packed up and walked to the door. He paused to look at Haruki, who was too busy to raise his head to spare him a glance.
