"Are you sure you brought me to your home?" Haruki asked, stressing the last word.
The doctor looked at him solemnly before nodding as he responded, "Yes. This is where I live, my... home."
"Oh," Haruki said before casually walking to the long black sofa in the living room. He sat down before lying on the bed and closed his eyes.
Since the man said it was his home, he chose not to ask any more questions. He thought of all the hotels and condos he had stayed in and felt he had not added anything to those houses, and this was probably what the doctor did.
On a second note, the doctor might have designed the house to be this way because this is what he wanted. He didn't try to question the man or find out the answer to this question.
"Are you going to sleep here?" Hiroshi walked to him and asked.
"Hmm," Hiroshi responded without opening his eyes. "Get everything ready for me."
