The next morning, as Hazel had planned the last day, she asked Elliot to help get the remaining materials for the summoning and when he did, she started the process. She placed the pebbles positioning them at the four cardinal points on the ground with a pebble at the center, she then lit the candles and placed one in each stone, she did other arrangement before getting the knife and slit her palm. She placed her hand so that the blood will fall on the middle pebble. She then chanted some spells and the blood from the middle stone flows and hit the other pebbles around it in a straight line and then formed a circle.
According to the book, after this was done, the summoning was complete, all that remained was to wait til the elemental bearer comes
After cleaning the room and getting rid of the materials, she told Collins to bring her breakfast and then she went for her dance class. Surprisingly, during the past few days, Hazel and Evelyn became closer and they talked about few personal stuffs to which Hazel told her what was going in between her and Xavier
"You're lucky Ms Hazel, you know he loves you unlike me who doesn't know where I stand in the heart of the person I love" Evelyn said sadly
"What do you mean"
"I actually fell for someone who I'm not sure feels the same"
"And who's that"
"His name is Elliot …"
"Elliot!?"
"Yeah"
"He actually got missing from our town and his family is searching for him"
"His family!?" Hazel asked knowing she was referring to Crane or his personal reapers
"Yeah, so if you come across someone with that name, please inform me, I want to know where I stand in his life and most importantly, get him back to his family"
"I'll help, but have you checked other lands to see IG he ran there"
"I'm very sure he's here"
"OK"
"Back to you, just wait a while, I'm sure he'll come back"
"Even if he does, I won't forgive him"
"Why?"
"He had bedded her!"
"How are you sure he did?"
"She talks about it like she's trying to engrave it or something"
"Did Xavier agree to doing it"
"He just sits there saying nothing which I translate to admission"
"You don't still come to a conclusion like that"
"I've made up my mind, since he's looking for a mistress, I won't be one"
Later on, Hazel and Elliot were at the drawing room resting while Elliot stared
"I love her love story" Elliot said
"Who?"
" Your dance teacher and damn she can formulate a story well"
"Why aren't you grim reapers afraid to tell out your real name"
"No one knows about the existence of our kind so there's nothing to be afraid of"
"Mmmn"
"So you're helping her search for me?"
"For now, no, but I might change my mind if I don't see relles by-"
"I'm sorry to disturb but Councilman Jordan is here to see you" Collins said interrupting her speech
"I'll be with him in a short while"
"Okay Ms" and he left
"You're seriously going to see him knowing he's the cause of you and Xavier's fight?"
"Xavier is moving on with his new woman and I need to get myself a man so if he decides to chase me out, I'll see where to get a roof over my head" she replied and left
"What!!"
At the garden was Jordan waiting under some tree which was their spot to always meet and Hazel ran to meet him and hugged him. Jordan was shocked at the gesture
"Is everything alright, Ms Hazel?"
"Sure, I just needed a hug at that moment"
"I'm not against it bit I don't think the Lord will fancy our position now"
"Don't worry, he won't mind" she said as she still held him tight while deepening the hug. Some minutes went by before she freed him
"I'm sorry for acting weird" she apologized
"No problem, you needed a hug and I'll be happy yo help with that anytime" Hazel blushed a little at his words while they sat and discussed about some unnecessary things. Hazel was happy he came cause she knew she would be so bored by now if she was in the room either waiting for the elemental bearer or having another annoying talk with Xavier or worst, Elliot trying to advice her, but with Jordan, she just eased herself. They talked till it was almost sunset.
Meanwhile, up the mansion was Xavier staring daggers at them from his window, he squeezed his fist so tight that the glass he held broke
'YOU DON'T SEEM TO GET "STAY AWAY FROM HAZEL" DO YOU' He cursed Jordan in his thoughts
"Milord, you didn't go for any meetings today" an annoying voice said behind him, he so felt like ripping the person's head off its neck
"Milord" Dorin called again
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT!" He shouted. He was at first letting her say whatever she wished to say just to let Hazel feel exactly how he felt anytime she was with Jordan but now he can't anymore and moreover, he had gotten the reaction he wanted from Hazel so there was no need harbouring Dorin again
"Why do you keep shouting, what did I do"
"You did everything, you're mere presence pisses me and your voice, even makes it worse"
"What!"
"You heard me and look, whatever freedom you thought you had with me is over, I don't need you clinging to me any longer, failure to adhere will cause severe punishments" he said
Back at the garden, Hazel was seeing Jordan off, he had already stepped in his carriage when
"You came to the mansion and didn't come see me" Xavier said walking closer to them
"Ms Hazel told me you were with Ms Dorin and needed no disturbances" Jordan answered to which Xavier tilted his head towards Hazel's direction but she just threw her face away
"She told you so?"
"Yes, well I'm sorry for not going to see you, I was already taking my leave" he then turner to Hazel "see you next time" to his surprise, Hazel came forward and hugged him again, didn't she think this will enrage Xavier
"I'll see you next time" she said offering a smile.
Xavier was by the side fuming. Jordan bowed and left
"What do you want?" She asked as she turned to face him, whatever smile she had had totally wiped away
"What do you mean by what do I want?"
"I mean, what are you doing here?"
"I came to tell him yo back off from what's mine"
"And what's yours here?"
"You"
"Since when"
"What are you saying, rabbit"
"So I guess the demon that possessed y- oh not a demon as you're already one, but whatever possessed you had left and you now think I'm yours!?"
"Look, whatever the problem is, let's solve it okay"
"Lord Xavier Decron, I'm sorry to say but whatever you came here to protect, I think its upstairs in your room"
"You're still angry at me"
"Angry? Pfft, no I'm not, as I said I'm spacing out for you two and I don't think she like seeing us together"
"Whose she?"
"Your woman, Lady Dorin Decron, Milord"
"Whatever she said then wasn't true, nothing was"
"Then how would you explain all the great night escapades she talks about"
"All were just her fantasies"
"And I should believe this now, but then you do nothing and just sit when she talks about it"

"Speechless now right... I got some things to do if you could excuse me and I almost forgot, if you still have plans of throwing me out, you could buy just inform me some days before the time" and she left the garden
