Its been a few days since Hazel woke and had spoken to Elliot about his they can get Kyle out, also Hazel had finally been able to finish learning the wind element, next up was the fire element. She had gotten ready to summon the elemental bearer after gathering the materials for the process, although the process was quite different from the first two, after the process and meeting with the elemental bearer which was quite fast, she went to see her dad.
The last time they spoke was when she found out he was a switcher and that was about five to six days ago. She went towards his room and knocked on his door. Morgan came to open the door and when he saw Hazel, he was shocked, he hadn't expected her to come visit him. He ushered her in and she sat on his bed with him besides her
"Hi dad" she said after an awkward silence
"I know you're still angry with me and you have very right to, but I'm sorry and I hope you can forgive me" Morgan immediately addressed the elephant in the room
"I have no option dad, your the man I knew as my dad since I was growing up so not accepting that will be hurting myself, you're the best dad I could ever think of"
"Seriously" Morgan said smiling
"Yeah I forgive you but one more thing"
"What's it"
"You'll tell me all about switchers"
"Sure thing"
"Could you start now"
"OK, what do you want me to start with?"
"Let's start with your kind"
"OK,from what I told you the last time, we possess bodies and also we are able to get hold of the memories of such person from when he/she was a baby making it easier to impersonate the person. For my kind, we have to posses the body first but there are other switchers that can take the form of persons without necessarily possessing them and some who also possess the body can leave the body at any time and get into another. Also those of us that posses, it has to be after the person is dead"
"That means your kind is kind of the lowest among switchers"

"You said something about sweating habit, is it applicable to all switchers?"
"Yeah, all switchers has that habit"
"So you can't leave this body till it expires?"
"That's right and I've reached my limit meaning after this body expires, I won't be able to posses another, its either I go back to where we came from or I just roam about"
"Why then did you posses a human knowing they have a shirt lifespan instead of a vampire knowing this is your last body?"
"I loved your mum. I knew she would feel lonely and sad if she knew about Lionel's death and I took it as a privilege to be able to take care of the woman I loved even if it was just for some years"

"I do" he said lost in thought and reminiscing his time with Vivian back in the days. Hazel noticed and kept quiet for a while before speaking up again
"You said something about working for the dark witches"
"Yeah, that was before"
"Do they know that I exist?"
"I thought you might have know that they know you are with Xavier"
"Not that, I mean that I'm a white witch with the purifying abilities"
"No, they don't but when they do, they'll trash out Xavier"
"I just wish all these could just end"
"They will soon but it depends if you want it to end with you victorious or with them victorious"

During the time of the afternoon, surprisingly Evelyn came in, surprisingly. It been long she had come and she didn't send message about her coming. A maid came in to inform Hazel about it and Hazel when to meet her at the drawing room
"Oh, Evelyn, nice to see you again" Hazel greeted
"Nice to see you too Lady Hazel, how was your vacation"
"Has the news gone round?" Hazel rolled her eyes taking a seat
"Of course, I mean you have a journalist here in your mansion" Evelyn joked
"Who's that?"
"Ms Dorin of course"
"Ha ha... What brought you here, you didn't say you were coming"
"Well, I came to see if you have any news about Elliot yet"
"Oh..... About that..... Elliot.... Well I have no news about him"
"Seriously"
"Yeah"
There was a long silence before Evelyn spoke again
"Do you think I'm a fool to believe what you just said, Milady"

"I know, you know"
"I knooowwww what exactly"
"I know, you know where Elliot is, you know who I really am cause I'm sure Elliot must have told you, I know, you know all that happening and why he's running away, I know...."
"So, the love story was fake?" Hazel interrupted Evelyn
"I'm saying something serious here. If Elliot comes back, tell him to go meet Crane or possibly come meet me, he knows where to find me"
"I don't have any idea on what you are saying"
"Tell him, Crane's looking for a way to get him off this trap and he needs to see him. I'm not here to condemn him but help out" Evelyn said ignoring what she said
"But was the live story real?" Hazel asked still adamant on getting an answer
"I'll be back tomorrow" and she left
"I guess she now knows" Hazel murmured and she quickly left to meet Elliot who was at the garden
"I heard Evelyn was here" Elliot said first seeing Hazel approach him
"Yes, she just left"
"How was it?"
"I think she'd found out we were fooling her"
"There's no way she could"
"Well, she got a message for you. One, you should go meet Crane or possibly her, you know where to find her and two, Crane us looking for evidences to free you, so you shouldn't be scared to show yourself to him"

"And I guess the live story is real, I think she likes you"
"Hazel"
"What, I'm just saying.... So what should we do"
"I think this is just a trap to see if you truly know me"
"So I should keep in with the act?"
"Yeah"
"How long will this continue? Why don't you just go meet Crane since you're scared of seeing her alone"
"Who said I'm scared?"
"I said"
"Look, we still go on with this plan"
The next day, Hazel prepared to visit the church, she hadn't given Connor the key to the secret room and room and she was sure he would be angry but Xavier had warned she shouldn't go anywhere anywhere alone so she had to tell him and Xavier told Lucas to follow her to the church
"The church" Lucas said
"Yeah, she can't go alone, I won't like that"
"Don't you know what happened when I last had contact with Hazel, I was turned to a FROG, wait, no, a TOAD"
"Come on, she had mastered that now and she wouldn't try it again, Connor will be there too, so there no need to feel this way"
"That's worse, I'll be between two white witches"
"Are you now scared of witches?" Xavier asked amused
"No, but for white witches, yes, all thanks to Lady Hazel" he whined
"Hahahaha..." Xavier kept laughing
"What's so funny?"
"I think Hazel has just made you unlock your fears, I'll congratulate her but that will be when you two come back"

"I'll wait till you two return, I'll be going out cause I need to meet Xyle, our lands are having similar problems so I would want us to see if we can put heads together and solve it. See you when I return"
"I'm not going anywhere"
"You do as I say Lucas, I'm the Lord"
Hazel was in the carriage when Xavier entered his and left after waving at her. Minutes later, Lucas joined her in the carriage reluctantly, though keeping a good distance from her
"Why are you shifting away" Hazel asked noticing it
"Nothing Milady"
"But you haven't said anything since we started this journey"
"There's nothing to say"
"Well, I have.... I'm so sorry for our last encounter and I'm sorry that you had to wait till Xavier arrived"
"I know"
"And I know that's the reason you are keeping your distance but don't worry, don't be scared, physical touch can't turn you to a frog" she tried to make him loosen up
"A toad to be precise" he corrected
"Whatever"
"Whatever? Seriously? I almost thought I would spend my life in that slimy, fat, ugly, hideous, pest eating, fat stomach, black creature called a toad and you say whatever? And I'm not scared of you so don't use that word again" he exploded
'Seems like he holds a grudge' Hazel thought keeping quiet not to anger him
