After they finished eating the snacks, Xi Wan invited Xi Ze to stay for dinner.
At the dining table, Xi Wan mentioned that Xi Ze was going to take the postgraduate entrance examination. "Didn't you say that the school would guarantee a postgraduate degree?"
"Yes, there is only one spot. The spot for our department belongs to me."
"Don't the other students have any objections?" Xi Wan asked this purely out of concern. When she was still in school, some of her classmates had gotten into a fight because of a guaranteed entry. In the end, they even got into a fight with the police. She did not want Xi Ze to encounter such a thing.
At first, Xi Ze said that there were no objections, but after eating a few mouthfuls of rice, he changed his words. "If you are talking about objections, then my roommate's attitude towards me has been a little different recently. He's talking in a strange way and seems to be very angry that I got the spot for the postgraduate degree."
