Looking out of his bedroom window, Henry's eyes landed on the wall surrounding the city. Three of the four walls had been finished which meant that they were perfectly on time for the plans he had set forth for the construction.
As usual, he did things fairly, considering the needs of the working class he commanded around. They would do it faster if he told them to but he would rather see precision and seriousness going into the wall. After all, it was supposed to stand for long enough to protect the posterity of those who would eventually move into the protected area.
A dusting of snow had fallen on Tenetium but it was only a hint of what lay ahead.
Considering it was still early in the morning, Henry turned to see his beautiful wife still sleeping in their large bed. The blankets covered her up to her chin but he could picture the small round belly she had been growing the last few months. Just the thought was enough to make his heart race with excitement.
