As the busiest city in the Northern Land and a well-known port of the New Moon Kingdom, North Port was always lively and bustling.
However, today North Port was even busier than usual.
Facing the Star Moon Strait, one sailing ship after another arrived from the north and south, slowly docking at North Port's Deep Water Pier. These ships varied in size, including the common two-mast schooners and the recently popular three-mast Caric ships.
Unlike the usual trade ships, each of these bore various flags, adorned with increasingly intricate and beautiful heraldic crests, many of which were directly imprinted onto the sails.
They were the coat of arms of the nobles, and each represented a noble family.
Castel Bridge, the only passage from the Peninsula Continent direct to North Port, was equally busy. Carriages from all directions converged towards North Port, resulting in a rare traffic jam.
