Iris was left speechless when she heard what he said. And after she composed herself a bit better, she could discern the difference between Cane and Lu's voices. It was so fascinating how people could have different voices, especially in Cane and Lu's case since they were in the same body.
"I like you, Lu." Iris tried to appease this lycan. "But, there is something I need to talk about with Cane."
"He is not available," Lu said curtly and then put his arm around her waist possessively, as he pressed his lips tightly, indicating he didn't want to continue this conversation.
In the end, Iris gave up and let Lu occupy Cane's body a little bit longer. She believed, if Cane regained enough of his strength, he could take over his body from Lu easily.
