Synopsis
Welcome to the world where Gods exist, and where humans meet their end. In this world filled with magic and Gods exist the power of half Gods, or nisf daw—humans given names by Gods to become their future successors. These half God and half humans chose their own path, whether said path is to be villainess or righteous, a “hero,” or a “villain.” However, in this tale, there are no true “heroes” or “villains;” there are only victims or victors. A destined young girl—19-year-old Zayn—pulls out the legendary sword Excalibur and becomes the nisf daw— the chosen successor— of the King of Gods himself, changing the lives of herself and her best friends forever. As Zayn explores this new world she is forced into and the reason for her existence, she bonds closer with new friends and allies, faces strong foes, and explores love, something the strongest woman in the world never knew she’d ever get the chance to experience.

Chapter 1 - The Genesis: The Beginnings

Hello to all who have ventured through this world.

Sit down while I tell you this tale:

If you are looking for a story with expectations—with a direct, solid direction without surprises, pain, sorrow, love, passion, and yearning, I must tell you now is the time we must part.

This story is about a young girl who shields her identity with a heavy helmet. This story is about a sheltered girl who is thrust into a world beyond her expectations, and thus must fight for a world she barely knows much about. This story--this tale--this biography is about a young girl who fights with the world on her shoulders, who steps into battles and faces both old friends and new foes, and who opens her wounded hearts to a emotion called love.

To understand a bit of this world this girl lives in, however, we must briefly go back to its origins.

There are millions of Gods from small deities to the most powerful—there were nine of them when the world first began—Creation, Death, Judgement, Chaos, Divinity, Strength and Heroes, Vehemence, Knowledge and Diplomacy, and Dawn. The first nine Gods created the worlds that exist today and established the nisf daw—demigods who can succeed after them. Why—the original Gods believed no God should stay in reign for too long, as an elder, the tainted mind of a elder God may wrongfully change the tides of how the future shall be built.

Before we discuss the future, we must venture into the past: After the War of Namida thousands of years ago, Gods, divine beings, and humans were living amongst each other, with the gods acting as the human leaders, once treating them with love until they treated them like slaves and cattle, going to far as to kill human and Vera as a sport.

Eventually, the humans had enough, and the humans rebelled against the Gods for their tyranny, causing an all-out war to break out between Gods, humans, deities, and Veras. The Gods easily overpowered the humans, killing off millions by the minute, until the first God of Creation, Bruhman, demised the vision of his creations losing their lives to the other Gods unjustly. He then created the weapon of heroes--Exaclibur--as a human weapon that can fight against any entity.

The hero he selected--the first nisf daw--Iroas, was the first human to ever be able to go toe-to-toe with the Gods, causing the humans to rise and declare war with the Gods. It was during this war that the humans figured out the secret to killing a God, which is to strip the limb of where their God mark is and destroy it. Once Iroas learned of this, he used this secret to his advantage and changed the tides of the war.

It wasn't until the Gods began to receive catastrophic losses, did the Gods agreed to a treaty with the humans under the pretense of peace--Gods would stay in their realm, humans in theirs, and Veras would only be able to stay in the human realm as long as they acted accordingly. It was a win for the humans, a slight nudge in the right direction to the Gods, and the Vera, well, it was something.

That is why every fifty years, the Gods and humans have agreed to meet to discuss the rebalance and accuracy of the treaty and to make sure all is fair until the next fifty years. It is to maintain justice and balance amongst each other, however, as of late, disorder seems prevalent between parties. However, one girl--chosen by the late God of creation, has been chosen to be the new King of Gods. Funny enough, this young girl, as sweet as she is and naive as her soul blends, will be thrust into a world with evil and chaos; blood and ruin.

Yet in this story, there are no villains or heroes.

There are only victims and victors; there is only falsehood and ideologies of truth.
