Perhaps a more qualified detective or someone with a more learned personality could have determined something from these barren landscapes, such as noting the architecture being nearly identical to a certain dynasty or empire back on Earth, noting that the language was written in a similar form to a language Di Tou hadn't learned, or even simply pointing out that the soil composition didn't make sense for the world of cultivation but rather matched something on Earth, but this wasn't an ability Di Tou had!
All he could do was run around like a headless chicken, hoping for an obvious clue that was out in plain sight!
