This sort of terrain where Di Tou was restrained to a rather linear route was actually quite perfect for scouting with his Spiritual Sense at a far range. After all, although Di Tou's Spiritual Sense could reach up to a hundred kilometers in length when he crossed the Heavenly Ten Barrier, when he did so, it was like he had a little thin string that ran exceptionally far.
Even if he could see and understand everything going on in that one string… it was very hard for Di Tou to get the big picture or get a lot of information without spending a lot of time carefully maneuvering this string to scout out the destination bit by bit.
It was only when he crossed the Heavenly Ten and took the perspective of 'everything' that he could actually use this distance to the fullest and see 'everything.'
