Alexander clutched the Sword of Judgment, letting tiny motes of blue light flow from his palm and spread across the blade. A pure aura of judgment flared outward, colliding head-on with the annihilation energy raging around the Spirit of Annihilation.
The entire space was blanketed by its chilling darkness—except for the area immediately around Alexander, where Judgment power formed a small barrier to keep the destructive force at bay.
With a wild laugh, the Spirit of Annihilation lunged right at him, annihilation energy winding around its fist. In an instant, its punch was aimed squarely at Alexander's chest.
Alexander raised his left arm, directly taking the blow.

A thunderous impact rang out. His entire left arm went numb for a moment, and the brutal force forced him back several steps. But mid-retreat, Alexander swung the Sword of Judgment, slashing down at the Spirit of Annihilation.
