"Whoosh!"
Alexander streaked through the air, erupting with an ear-splitting sonic boom.
The Spirit of Annihilation opened its massive jaws, and a suffocating aura gathered in a tight vortex inside its mouth.
"Boom!"
A split second later, it blasted out a beam of black light. Alexander flashed forward and slammed his palms together.
"Bang!"
A sword-shaped mark materialized in front of him, colliding head-on with the annihilation energy. Two forces collided in midair, sending a massive shockwave rippling outward.
In that brief instant, Alexander vanished and reappeared behind the Spirit of Annihilation. He drove his right palm toward the creature's head. The sword's glow behind him flared, and countless tiny slivers of sword aura followed the thrust of his palm, raining down on the Spirit of Annihilation in a frenzied assault.
"Crack… crack… crack…"
