"He said he couldn't reach you, so he left a magic crystal." Linda turned around, picked up a small crystal from the coffee table, and handed it to Alexander.
Alexander took the crystal and channeled a bit of magical energy into it.
Before long, the call connected.
"Hello, are you the one who saved my life, Mr. Alexander?" Thalion Windseeker asked, sounding delighted.
"Yes, I've returned to Lake City. I'd like to see you if you're available. Come over," Alexander said.
"Sure! I'll be right there," Thalion Windseeker replied.
Once the call ended, Alexander sat down on the sofa.
Linda poured him a glass of water, handed it to him, then sat on the adjacent couch, staring at Alexander's profile with bright, curious eyes.
"Alexander, have you gotten stronger lately?" Linda asked.
"You can tell?" Alexander raised an eyebrow in response.
"Yes. I feel like your entire aura is different from before," Linda answered with a nod.
