Alexander was restrained by at least ten layers of locks—and these were no ordinary locks, but magical artifacts. They forcibly suppressed his power, preventing him from releasing any aura and rendering him completely unable to fight back.
Once all the chains were secured, Alexander was taken to the deepest room of the detention area.
"Poor William—bet you never dreamed you'd end up like this." The person escorting Alexander was Joseph, the Vice President that Alexander had seen before. Joseph's lover, Valentina, had been seriously injured by William and then disappeared. Joseph harbored intense hatred toward William.
"You thought nobody in this world could stop you?" Joseph's eyes were filled with venom as he spoke coldly.
At this point, Alexander had not yet received word from Thalion that the plan was complete, so he could only pretend to be half-unconscious.
