The rain poured down
an overcast sky
a misty fog which felt as if one was in a jungle.
a bustling crowd of people stood, people on phones, others talking to each other, a little kid was arguing with his mom. Cars went by, buses and taxis rushed by with the flow of evening rush hour.
I was also standing around waiting and scrolled through a novel on my phone while I was listening to music.
a notification vibrated on my phone.
[Messages] [Misu: Anyone up for some a game?]
[Messages] [Monkey: Nah I'm busy]
[Messages] [Blocked: Just got off work. Give me a bit]
The light turned green and people began to cross the intersection.
I heard the sound of tires on the road as I and a few others turned to the direction of the sound. Headlights, bright and blinding.

Pain
I couldn't see anything but I could feel it, a feeling as if the liquids in my stomach had spilled out into the rest of my body. I was hungry, yet I felt too full at the same time.
It burned
It burned, and yet it felt cold, freezing.
I couldn't breathe
When I tried to inhale it felt like if someone tried to blow air into a balloon that had a rock on it. But at the same time it felt like the moment air entered my lungs it escaped into the rest of my body.
I couldn't hear anything over the sound of a high pitch scream, it rung out through my head and vibrated violently through my whole body.
rain hit my body, I felt numb all over and yet every drop of rain felt like a bullet.
