The Final event of the first day of the W.S.S.F has been announced.
Kaneki: it's seriously a normal Scavenger Hunt? How would that work? There'll be so much participants.
Natsuki: I think it's best to not question it.
Yuuka: Yeah, let's just have fun in the game.
Shino: We're probably going to need to find and run very fast.
Kaneki: an easy win for me I guess! But I wonder what the prize will be? Considering this event will have a lot of winners, a trophy won't be special.
Miku: maybe medals?
Natsuki: or maybe sword!
Kaneki: wait why a sword?
Natsuki: well I couldn't think of anything else hehe~
Kaneki: well I wish you all the best of luck!
Sachi: same goes for you Kaneki!
Natsuki: by the way where will the Scavenger Hunt be held in? This place is definitely a no-go and Mato High is kinda small.
Kaneki: well let's just wait and see.
Natsuki: by the way Kaneki, what item do you think will be written in your clue sheet?
Kaneki: Honestly it's hard to know since it's probably going to be something random. But I'll hope it's something like "Sweet and Delicious" and if it is I'll just use this bottle of pudding.
Kaneki then pulled out a bottle of pudding from his pocket.
Sachi: Wait you had that on your pocket this whole time?
Kaneki: no I used Darkness Travel.
All 5: of course.
Kaneki: anyways what do you guys think you'll get?
Sachi: no idea.
Shino: I just hope it's not something embarrassing.
Yuuka: yeah same here.
Miku: if it's something I like I'll probably just bring my toys.
Natsuki: oh nice! I do hope I get a good clue sheet hehe~
Kaneki: well let's wait for the event to start then.
All 5: Yeah.
The 6 then patiently waited for the event to start

Ryueki's thoughts
(Heh! Natsuki will be mine after this! There's no way she'll refuse my confession! After all I'm the protagonist and her childhood friend)
Ryueki who was watching from a far was making a creepy smile as he was planning to confess to Natsuki.

"The Last event of the W.S.S.F's first day will now begin shortly"
After 8 minutes the event has will now finally begin.
"Before we begin I'd like to make a correction, the Scavenger Hunt will not be the normal version that is a mistake on my part for not researching the game properly."
Everyone: Eh?
"The normal version is a team game, This version will be solo. Meaning for each round there will always be one winner"
Kaneki: I don't quite get it.
Sachi: same here.
"Now then. Shimotsuki park will be the event area, and a starting and finish line will be made in short notice"
"Once the event starts 30 random participants will be teleported to the starting line"
"Each participant will be given a clue sheet in front of them in which they are to run, grab and read it's contents"
"After reading the contents of their clue sheets, they are to find an item or person matching the description of their clue sheet and run to the finish line with said item or person"
"the first participant who crosses the line with their matching item or person will be the winner of the round and will be given medal made of mythril"
Yuuka: Mithril?! That thing is expensive!
Kaneki: hope you get a medal Yuuka.
Yuuka: thanks. I'll definitely win!
Natsuki: let's just hope we get chosen though.

With Kaneki chosen he was teleported to the starting line.
Kaneki: -sen something easy- huh? Guys?
Kaneki was immediately confused as the girls were nowhere to be seen.
???: Hey there.
???: Oh shit it's Kaneki!
Seeing the people around him he immediately knew where he was.
Kaneki: wait I seriously got chosen?on the first round? Oh well let's do our best everyone!
???: man we're so unlucky! We got paired with you!
Kaneki: Hehe~ sorry.
???: dude why are you apologizing? He was being sarcastic.
???: yeah I like a challenge.
Kaneki: Oh okay then, well let's do our best and have some fun!

As Kaneki was chatting with some of his fellow participants.
Ryueki: Oi! Don't think you're going to beat me this time!
Ryueki appeared before them.
Kaneki: Oh it's you.
???: he doesn't that guy look a bit red to you?
Kaneki: now that you mentioned it-
Ryueki: Shut up! This won't be like the other 4 events! I'm beating you on this one!
After saying that he went to his spot.
???: geez what's with him?
Kaneki: I don't know. But I don't like it.
"Alright players go to your designated spots"
???: oh looks like it's starting.
Kaneki: good luck strangers.
???: Good luck dude.
???: don't let that guy win okay?
Kaneki: I won't.
As Kaneki and everyone else went to their spots, Chikao and the other Class Presidents from Mato High came and began placing the clue sheets on the ground.
Chikao: Good luck Kaneki!
Even though Chikao didn't placed Kaneki's clue sheet, she wished him luck.
Kaneki: Thanks!
After the Clue sheets were placed on the ground, Chikao had left the track.
Querxes: Alright, ready?! 3! 2! 1! Go!
Bang!
With the shot of a racing pistol, all 30 participants rushed to their clue sheets.
(Alright this is good! Since I'm the protagonist I'll probably get a clue like "an important person to you" and once I do I'll get Natsuki! And once I get her and cross the finish line I'll confess to her and she'll definitely accept it! After all I'm her childhood friend and protagonist!)
As Ryueki was thinking about his plan for his confession.
Ryueki: Got it!
He was able to get his sheet but when he opened to read it.
Ryueki: H-Huh?! What?!
"Something stinky"
It didn't gave him the clue he wanted.
Ryueki: this isn't what I wanted!
As Ryueki was panicking after not getting what he wanted. Kaneki.
Kaneki: Easy win!

Ryueki: what?!
???: Wait does he already have his item?
Everyone was surprised to see Kaneki immediately running to the finish line after getting his clue sheet.

"Could you sow us your Clue sheet?"
The announcer said through one of the drones.
Kaneki: Here~!
The announcer then read what was on the clue sheet.
"A sharp object"
Kaneki: And here is Sword-san! She's a sharp object!
Kaneki pulled Sword-san out confidently.
"Looks like we have our first winner!"
Kaneki: Woohoo! 5th win in a row!
???: Congratulations!
???: talk about lucky!
Natsuki: Well done Kaneki!
Sachi: Yeah! Good thing you always had Sword-san on you!
Shino, Yuuka, Miku & Chikao: Congratulations Kaneki!
Kaneki: Thanks!
"Now then Kaneki, here's your Mithril medal"
Kaneki: Thanks you. After receiving his medal Kaneki immewent back to his friends.
Kaneki: I won again! Woohoo!
Miku: this has to be your fastest and easiest win yet.
Kaneki: good thing I brought Sword-san! Isn't that right Sword-san?
Sword-san: [that's right! And I'm happy to help you win]
Kaneki: Hehe~ easiest win yet.
"Now then, with the first round now done, let's move on shall we? Also I forgot to mention. There will be at least 30 rounds"

Shino: now we wait for our tu-

With Shino Chosen, she's now going to play.
Shino: sigh~ I was in the middle of talking, oh well might as well play.
Shino was already ready to start.
"Players go to your spots now, the next round is about to begin"
Shino: alright.
After Shino and her competitors got to their spots, the game immediately began.

Kaneki: Alright! Go! Go! Go! Shino!

(They're cheering me on! I must win this round!)
Shino ran quickly to her clue sheet, after getting to it she opened and read it.
Shino: Wait... This is bad!
After reading it's contents Shino suddenly became flustered.
Kaneki: Huh? What's wit Shino? She looks a bit red.
Sachi: I think I know what's going on.
Yuuka, Miku & Natsuki: yeah same here.
Kaneki: Heh?
Miku: she's coming here.
Kaneki: eh really?
As Kaneki looked back at Shino's direction, she really was going to them.
And once she did.
Shino: Hey Kaneki can I borrow you for a bit? You matched what I needed.
Kaneki: sure?
Shino: good.

Shino: let's go...
Kaneki: Okay?
Shino began running to the finish line with Kaneki.
Natsuki: I wonder what she got that matches Kaneki?
Yuuka: it's probably something like "someone cute" or something like that.
Miku & Sachi: Yeah that might be the case!
Natsuki: my heart is pounding! I really want to know what she got that matches Kaneki.
"Looks like we got our next winner! And she's with- eh?! Kaneki?"

Everyone who was watching mainly teens and adults are anticipating something like a confession.
"Alright, now read out your clue sheet and let's see if Kaneki here matches it"

But to their disappointment.

After receiving her medal, Shino went back to her friends with a face full of embarrassment.

Sachi: well it can't be avoided, Kaneki is kind of scary.

Miku: let's just continue watching okay?

Shino immediately started eating the pudding Kaneki offered to her.
Yuuka: well then, let's continue watching.

And so Kaneki and 5 of the Higanbana girls continued watching the scavenger hunt event, and in the 10th, 20th, and 25th rounds Miku, Sachi and Yuuka was chosen to participate.
And their required item/person was...
10th round
Miku: an otaku.
Kaneki: Well I do like Tokusatsu a lot so... I'm a Tokusatsu Otaku?
20th round.
Sachi: Something feminine
Kaneki: I don't know how to feel about this.
25th round.
Yuuka: sucks at card games and always loses when playing them.
Kaneki,v: Hey isn't that too specific?!

Kaneki: I can't believe I was the item you guys needed.
Miku: Well at least ours isn't as bad as Shino's.
Shino: please stop mentioning that!
Yuuka: anyways, the only one among us who hasn't participated yet is.

It is currently the 29th scavenger hunt round and Natsuki still wasn't chosen.
Natsuki's thoughts*
(This isn't good, if I'm not chosen in the last round my plan will fail! And there's nothing I can do!)
Natsuki was getting very stressed due to not being picked yet and is worried that her plan will fail.
(At this rate I'll have to think of a new plan.)
"Alright, now let's go see who'll be chosen for the 30th and final round!"
Natsuki: Damnit.
Kaneki: Hey Natsuki, it's alright. Even if you didn't participate it was fun!
Natsuki: ... Yeah it was... But I really want to play.
Kaneki: well let's just wait and see.
Natsuki: Okay.
(Please God, I beg you let me be in this round so I could finally be free from that guy.)
Natsuki was very desperate but since she couldn't do anything, she just prayed I her mind.

Natsuki looked as her friends and Kaneki cheered her on.

As Natsuki went to their spots.

The Clue sheets were being distributed and Chikao had successfully planted the clue sheet that Natsuki asked her to plant.
Querxes: Scavenger hunt 30th and final round shall start in 3! 2! 1! Go!

Natsuki immediately ran as quick as she possibly can to her Clue sheet and after opening and reading it.

She started running towards Kaneki.
Ryueki's thoughts*
(She's probably going to get me, after all I'm the protagonist)
Ryueki thought Natsuki was going for him but we already know what's going to happen.
Ryueki: Natsuki! I'm ri-

Ryueki: H-Huh?!
Natsuki had run passed Ryueki shocking him.
(Hey! Hey! Don't tell me?! Is she?!)
To Ryueki's horror.
Natsuki: Kaneki you match my item!
Kaneki: again? Okay then.
Grab!
Natsuki: let's go!
Natsuki grabbed Kaneki's hand and began dragging him to the finish line.
Ryueki: Oi! Higanbana! Switch with me! I'm her Childhood friend!
Ryueki yelled out in frustration.
Kaneki: what did you get?
Natsuki: let's cross the finish line and find out.
Kaneki: Yeah yeah.
But Natsuki and Kaneki didn't heard him and.
"We got a winner!"
Natsuki and Kaneki had crossed the finish line.
"Here's your medal, Kaneki probably already matches your item anyways"
Natsuki: Thanks.
"Now if you may, please read your clue sheet."
Natsuki: okay.
(It's alright, there's no way that guy's special! I'm the protagonist! He probably matched something insignificant written in that paper)
Ryueki was hoping that Kaneki had matched something insignificant.
Natsuki: Someone special and important to you.
But it wasn't what he had hoped for.

Everyone: Ehhhhh?!
Ryueki: What?!
