After thinking for over an hour,but I still have no idea how to crack the code,I bit my lips and looked at the journal again....
I sighed for the umpteenth time,I grumbled and threw the book on floor out of frustration and anger...
Then it hit me,the perfect plan,my eyes lit up and my lips curled up in a smile...
I reached my drawer and opened it,I brought out my makeup kit and collected the powder inside,I walked to the door and picked up the journal..
I left my room and entered their room,I glanced at the two figures laying on the bed and sleeping peacefully,I have to be fast and get out of here before they wake up...
I went to the drawer with the code and smiled,I took out the powder and sprinkled some on the buttons,I blew the powder away,some parts of the numbers cleared,but I could still trace hint of fingerprints on four particular figures....
""4..6...3...5...""I said and looked at the numbers carefully...
I smiled,I had clearly seen these numbers in that journal,3...6....4....5,I typed the code with trepidation,it made a click sound and I widened my eyes in surprise...
I dragged the drawer and it opened,a huge smile appeared on my face""I did it""I chanted happily....
I saw the keys lying flat in the drawer,I smiled and closed it back,I cleaned the buttons thoroughly, making sure not to leave any hint of the powder....
I heard a noise and looked at the sleeping figures on the bed, they were trying to wake up,I picked my stuffs and quietly walked out the room...
I entered my room and shut the door,I slumped on the bed and a smile crept up on my lips....
I never knew this skill would be useful one day,I never really wanted to learn it but my dad persuaded and told me that I never know when I will really need it....
well he was right,and I'm glad that I finally agreed to learn it...

I remained in my position for about thirty minutes then I heard a crack sound, I looked up and saw mum entering the room...
I stood up from the bed,she gave me a smile and gestured to me to sit down,ok this is definitely odd I thought....
I sat down and she sat next to me,she patted my head with a smile on her face""you did a good job today sweetie,I hope this is how you keep on acting""she said..
what the hell is wrong with her,I thought,but plastered a fake smile on my face""I hope so too""I said through gritted teeth..
""Your dad and I is going out for dinner later,what should I bring back for you""she asked..
""oh no mum, don't worry about me,I'm really ok and I don't need anything,but I hope you guys enjoy yourselves""

""well ok,if you say so""she stood up and left.

I stood up headed towards the kitchen,I got to the kitchen and saw Diego searching for only God knows what...

""you little devil,what did you add in those cookies you made""he growled like a hungry lion ready to jump on his prey and devour it.
Honestly,I've not seen this side of Diego before,he always acted calm and collected,it's not like I'm scared,his little growling didn't move me at all,I was just surprised that there is this side of him...
I had to act scared so he wouldn't suspect me,time to play pretend,I thought with a smirk on my face...

Nice to see you still have a brain Diego,I'm glad they are going out,I will be able to carry out my plan swiftly without any interruption,I thought as I walked out of the kitchen...
Few hours later,they were out of the house,I waited for another 15mins to make sure that they are really out and wouldn't come back....
I entered their room and just like I thought he would,he changed the passcode,I smiled and brought out my powder....
I did my magic, and for what seems like ages but it was just 30seconds,I opened the drawer and brought out the key...
I stared at the key as a mischievous smile appeared on my face...
let's find out what you've been hiding Diego,I thought as I headed towards the basement and got to the locked room....
I inserted the key and it made a click sound, indicating that the door opened....
I stepped into the dark room,I tried looking for the light switch and I found it,I turned on the light and the room bloomed with brightness....
looking at the room,it seems to be an old room,it looks like some sort of dungeon or secret room....
The vibes in the room was off and I didn't like it....
I had no time to check out the interior design of the room,I came in for business and I needed to be quick....
I started going through some old files,I got angry cause I wasn't getting any useful information...
I threw the paper,and my eyes caught on a particular headline that looked quite interesting
