Reqiel stepped into the room for the first time, he might have had a better time here if Sarell was with him. He still wasn't entirely pleased with his new predicament but Lady Eveyn was making it such a pleasant stay and the sun hadn't even set yet.
He drifted around the room, it was nothing like the rooms in his castle, there were fewer things made out of gold, and the frames of the mirrors were an alluring flowery pink. He liked this room better than any of the tens of rooms available to him in the Celestial Realm.
He stared at himself and frowned when he saw his reflection, he hadn't worn gold, nor had he put on any elaborate hairpiece in years, he didn't miss it. He immediately got to work taking it out, happy that he had insisted on leaving the blue bead in his hair, or he would have been unable to take it with him like the jewel-encrusted dagger he used as a hair ornament which was left back in his room in the Golden castle.
