Chapter 19 - Phoenix

The building of the F-class is old, but it is also quite spacious and has about four floors. Aella walked into an empty classroom and when she saw that there was nothing in it, she walked out. The next classroom she passed was also empty. She checked all the classrooms. She noticed that apart from the control room, all the other rooms in the building were empty.

"There's literally nothing here! Like no one's actually going to be teaching here."

Tired, Aella made her way up to the roof of the building to get some fresh air.

She sat cross-legged on the ground. Her back was against the wall and her eyes were closed.

There was a calm and warm atmosphere around her.

She lifted her face looking at the sky and a cool breeze blew across her face.

"Your Grace".

Just as Aella was beginning to enjoy the peace and quiet, she heard a voice in her head calling out to her.

"Mm," Aella replied, still with her eyes closed.

She was well aware of who was calling her. Without disturbing her peaceful relaxation, Aella simply lazily waved her right hand, and a barrier was instantly created across the roof, blocking out all noise and disturbance.

Then, suddenly, a huge, magnificent creature appeared. Its feathers were of a beautiful gold and red color.

Its body was covered in intense gold and red flames.

It was a phoenix.

According to legend, the phoenix was a mythical bird. It was associated with the sun. Known as one of the symbols of rebirth, the legendary phoenix was said to be a magical creature symbolizing fire and passion.

It is also known as a creature that brings balance and abundance. This was the main reason why the kingdoms were always looking for such a legendary mythical creature.

If the kingdoms knew that what they had been searching for so desperately was in the territory of the students who were most shunned and blacklisted by Sion city, their mouths would have fallen to the ground.

Aella opened her eyes. The first thing she saw were the fiery crimson and gold feathers of the Phoenix.

"Can't you make a more discreet entrance? If I hadn't put up a barrier, you would have burned the whole place down,' she pointed out calmly".

"I'm sorry," the phoenix replied pitifully, looking back at Aella, "Your Majesty, the other mythical and magical beasts have already been moved from the pagoda to the Crystal Palace".

"Mm...Nix," Aella called to the phoenix.

"Yes, Your Highness".

Aella opened the palm of her hand and at the same time a small red box appeared, which she then handed over to the Phoenix.

"Send Eagle to Sion to deliver these items to Khaled for me," he then placed a note on top of the box and said, "This is the address, also tell Khaled to go shopping for me, please.

"Buy it all. I have nothing to eat here, the fridge is empty. We need food and... some desserts too."

Aella paused and then went on to say

" And tell Eagle that I need the groceries by this afternoon, if possible. I want him to bring them to the F-class residence. I will be waiting for him on the roof."

"At your command, Your Majesty... but there are many residences here, which one are you staying in, I assume it's the most luxurious one, right?" Phoenix thought. Obviously, their Aella was staying in the most extravagant residence.

"No, it's the oldest and the ugliest.' Aella blurted out abruptly.

"... What!? How come our goddess stays in such a place?"

Phoenix was annoyed, "I should just kill those humans!"

Aella spoke up again: "You can go back to the palace after you deliver those things, Nix".

'...'

Seeing that Phoenix was still looking at her with no intention of leaving, Aella said with a sigh.

"I'll be home soon." Aella tried to convince Phoenix.

"So be good. Go back for now."

"Yes, Your Majesty. Phoenix couldn't say anything since Aella was here, although he was unhappy with how these people treated their goddess in such a shabby state he will retreat only this time. He knew it would be impossible to persuade her to return to the palace at this time. So with no other option, Phoenix disappointedly left.

Aella sighed in relief, removing the barrier around her.

She stretched out and then lay down on the floor.

At the same time, Junior and the others were in the classroom, discussing and explaining about what had happened to Class Nine that morning, when Aella first came here.

"Was what you were saying true, Junior?" Yun inquired.

"I mean, really?" Shion came up from behind Yun.

They were in disbelief at what Junior had just told them.

"If she's as strong as you say, shouldn't she be in an elite class, what's she doing in F class?" Nian asked.

"If you don't believe me, ask Adam, Sara and the others. They were with me that day".

Kathlyn walked up to Junior and said.

"They are not going to believe us with just words'"

They all stood in silence. They did not believe the story.

"Let's have a look at the CCTV then," Kye said.

Right, our building has cameras too, Kathlyn." Junior pointed at Kathlyn, who was the best of all of them when it came to hacking and technology.

All the cameras, software, audio and technical stuff in the building and the residence had been installed and some had even been inventions by Kathlyn, that was her area.

They all made their way to the surveillance room.

Inside, Kathlyn sat in front of the large screens. She was so engrossed in the computer that she forgot about the others standing next to her. Her long fingers were dancing across the keyboard at a very fast pace.

"When Kathlyn's holding a computer, she completely forgets that we exist," Shion said. He couldn't understand a word of what he was seeing on Kathlyn's computer and the monitors.

"The same goes for you with the plants, right?" Amari countered.

Shion glared at Amari with a fierce glare.

" I wasn't talking to you!". Irritated, Shion rolled his eyes at her in an exaggerated manner. While Amari and Aisha were laughing at him.

"It doesn't matter if we find the video. Me, Sara, Nara, Kathlyn and Junior witnessed the coolest fight we've ever seen that day, hehehe!" Adam exclaimed excitedly. "W-well, it wasn't really a fight..."

"Hmph!" Yun pretended not to care. But he kept glancing sideways at the monitors.

After a few seconds, Kathlyn managed to find the video footage of the fight.

"I found it," she said with bright eyes, at the same time Nian, Francois, Shion, Yun, Aisha, Amari and Yui, who pretended not to care about watching the video, came to Kathlyn like lightning.

She looked at them with a smile on her face and said

"I thought you guys didn't want to watch the video".

"Ahem, yeah Shion, I thought you didn't care about the video." Yun accused Shion blatantly.

"You-you.... you're the one who didn't want to watch the video, shameless"

"Be quiet, let's watch the video," Kye sighted.
