The toddler had bright sparkling eyes that is unmistakably familiar.
Ace narrowed his eyes at the toddler's face.
Those eyes resembled Ash's.
"Hey, did you hear? The Southern Duke's family in the west, the Collins, are coming to visit to observe his youngest son's coming of age."
A group of teenagers in the same age as Ace and Kevin walked by beside their table.
"Ah yes, they will arrive tomorrow. Those are what the merchants said who crossed paths with them."
"I hope there won't be trouble. Last time they came, there was a big fight and the Southern Duke's daughter and youngest son was severely wounded."
"Yes, but the youngest son is turning eighteen tonight, right?"
"Some eighteen year old guy who was rumored the strongest for his magic in the Southern Duke's family but still need companions to be his bodyguards."
And they all silently laughed.
"You should be angry." Kevin said.
