Chapter 572 - Chapter 572: Conflict! A Rift?

"I also don't think it's enough. Keep going, little one," a cheerful voice sounded in Muria's ears, smoothing over the influence of the previous voice. "This is my empire. His hand cannot reach here!"

This was a power Muria found familiar, a power that carried the supreme presence of a god or an epic being, but it also felt particularly close and intimate. There was no need to guess; Muria knew who the voice belonged to. It was Oswaldo Cres, the founding emperor of the Uranos Empire, a legendary Titan of mixed blood.

"Ancestor!" The Seventh Princess Gladys, who was deeply conflicted, suddenly looked up, staring at the sky above Muria. She could see a hand pressing down, but now, another hand surrounded by golden lightning had emerged, blocking the hand wreathed in Seraphim fire. Compared to Muria's perception, her senses were more acute.

"He actually intervened for Muria." Seeing the scene, the troubled expression on Gladys's face vanished, and she quickly made a decision. The current Muria had shocked her greatly.

The once-arrogant Seraphim was now bound by a shining chain of starlight, hanging helplessly before Muria. Pale golden blood sprayed from his back like fountains, and his face was twisted in agony.

Gladys understood why he was in such pain. In Muria's hand were two still-burning wings of Seraphim flame, dripping with blood. He had torn off the Seraphim's wings, and the battle's outcome was clear.

...

"Oswaldo, you want to stop me?" In the overlapping space between the Boundless Celestial Realm and the material world of Erathia, a voice repressed with anger sounded.

"This is my empire. It's not a place where anyone can just reach in. Anyone who tries, I'll cut off their hand," came a domineering response. A majestic figure appeared in the dark void, blazing golden lightning illuminating the star domain.

"I just want to take my descendant away. I have no other intentions." The Seraphim who intervened didn't want to entangle with Oswaldo. He didn't wish to cause a conflict, as it would be meaningless and might be exploited by certain ill-intentioned beings.

"Defeated and you want to take him away? It's not that simple. He must pay for his mistakes, no matter who it is."

"He has already paid a heavy price," the intervening Seraphim replied.

"I said, it's not enough." Oswaldo looked at the being standing opposite him. Six pairs of light wings spread from his back, radiating immense brilliance and a holy aura, like the reappearance of the ancient Seraphim god.

But Oswaldo knew that the figure opposite was merely a descendant of that ancient god. The six pairs of light wings behind him were the result of consuming a great deal of primordial energy to purify his bloodline. According to legend, only the first generation descendants of the ancient Seraphim god were born with six pairs of wings.

"His Seraphim wings have already been torn off!" Behind the Seraphim, white-hot flames with a slight red hue burned on his light wings, indicating his readiness to fight.

"A pair of regenerable wings is nothing compared to his words." Oswaldo, who was sensitive about his mixed heritage, despite having purified his Titan bloodline, still felt disgusted.

"Even if they can regrow, it greatly harms his foundation." The flames on the Seraphim grew hotter. He couldn't understand why his talented descendant had descended to Erathia, fought with a half-blood Titan, and been beaten so severely.

Though he didn't understand the circumstances, his protective instincts were strong. Regardless of right or wrong, he wanted to save his descendant first, lest he be maimed by that half-blood Titan.

"This is his own fault!"

"As an emperor of legend, don't you feel ashamed to bicker with a little legend?"

"I haven't laid a hand on him," Oswaldo coldly replied. "The shame is yours, for intervening in a junior's fight. Matters of the young should be resolved by themselves. It's disgraceful for elders to interfere."

"My descendant has already lost. What you're doing now is tormenting him." A war sword appeared in the Seraphim's hand, its sharp aura spreading through the void, enveloping the star domain.

"This is the price he should pay."

"Let me take my descendant away. I can consider what happened as nothing and forgive all past grievances." The Seraphim issued his final ultimatum, feeling that he was showing enough grace to the emperor before him.

"Forgive?" Oswaldo laughed. "Such arrogance runs in your line. That kid is indeed your descendant."

Then, a golden sun appeared in the star domain, composed entirely of golden lightning. It instantly enveloped the star domain, shattering the surrounding sword aura.

"Boom!" The two legendary beings clashed fiercely in the star domain. Their confrontation, with powers comparable to the sun, immediately attracted the attention of countless beings.

Especially when those beings discovered the identities of the two combatants, they became even more intrigued. A legendary Titan and a Seraphim, allies, were now fighting seriously, not just sparring. Was this a sign that the celestial and material world's strongest factions were about to split and become enemies?

If so, that would be fantastic. Logically, the Titans and Seraphim, each possessing the strongest legendary groups in their respective worlds and holding unshakable dominant positions, should be natural enemies. However, they had united, which was astonishing.

Were they finally showing signs of a split? Numerous gods and legendary beings were excited, as the pressure from these two giant factions was immense.

"What are you two youngsters doing?" A sigh echoed in the star domain filled with lightning and sword aura. A figure appeared, seemingly unremarkable, but those gods and legends observing felt a towering presence filling the void in their minds when their spiritual power touched him.
