On Next Day, In Karan and Faizi's room--
Karan was getting ready. He was having headache.
Faizi: Karan, Tum thik ho na?
Karan: Haan. Kyun?
Faizi: Nahi bas aise hi. (With quite worried face)
Karan understanding: Main thik hoon Faizi. Fever or kuchh nahi hain. Just relax. Aur agar yakin nahi hain to le check kar le(He put his hand forward for Faizi to check)
Faizi was not relieved seeing his confident best friend back.
Faizi: Are nahi nahi (while touching his hand to check for fever). Hum to bas aise hi puchh rahe the.
Then he left from the room not wanting to stretch it. And also does not want his best friend to think about last night.
Karan was shaking his head but he knew that his best friend was worried. But He really does not want to trouble anyone now. Specially for his nightmares. Till date, whenever he used to nightmare of Param bhaiya, he just used to stay awake in night but whenever he used to get nightmare of that bomb blast, he always has high fever on the next day. But today, something was different. Not that he does not have fever, he has but it was not that high. He has already taken Paracetamol while Faizi was in washroom. So, he was fine but still having headache.
Karan knew that thoughts of his Raani Sahiba has made him calm down yesterday night and that is the sole reason of him not having high fever. He wanted to thank her for the same.
He is about to leave while wearing his watch but suddenly bhaisahab takra gaye..Kis se? Apni Raani Sahiba se aur kis se?
Karan has held her by her waist and her hands are on his. Eye-lock of 30 sec. (Abhi pyaar nahi hua na isi liye)
They both stand properly and Karan left her waist and was waiting for her to leave his hands.
Karan: Monami
Monani did not listen
Karan: Raani Sahiba? (While raising his eyebrows)
Monami: Haan
Karan just indicated her that she has still held his hands.She was about left his hands but then suddenly she picks up his one hand.
Monami: Karan..Tumhe fever hain
Karan(shocked but not showing): Nahi.. Nahi to
Monami: Karan, Main ek doctor hoon. To mujse jhoot na bolo to hi behtar hain. Tumne medicine li?
Karan: Haan le li hain. Lekin is bare me tum kisi se I repeat kisi se bhi kuchh nahi kahogi. Specially Faizi. Woh pehle se thoda tensed hain.
Monami: Thik hain but you should rest. Otherwise main sab ko bata dungi
Karan: Itna nahi hain jitna hota hain
Monami: matlab?
Karan: Kuchh nani. Don't worry I am fine. Aur waise bhi aaj itni training nahi hain. Theory classes hain and I'll be in my cabin.
Monami: hmm .. OK
Karan: Monami.. Please kisi ko bhi mat batana. Please..
Monami: OK
Karan: Thanks..Thanks a lot.
Monami was shocked hearing this. Actually shock is an understatement. Karan Shergill..The Karan Shergill was saying Thanks and Please to her.
Karan was also thinking the same in his cabin. He does not know why but always feels strange calmness around his Raani Sahiba. He still could not believe that The Karan Shergill who just cannot stand rich people is admiring a rich girl named Monami.
But she is different. Though she is rich, she is kind, selfless. He was impressed with the way she has defeated him in argument in Batra sir's cabin. He was impressed with her determination towards the training. He knows that she is currently at the top in the race of becoming the best cadet of the academy.
And that is her determination and hard work which made their relationship cordial. Now they both have mutual request for each other.
His trance broke with a knock on the door.
Karan: Come in
Monami came with 2 plates. It was lunch break.
Monami: How are you feeling now?
Karan: Mind blowing
Monami: Good. Ab chalo yeh soup pilo and then yeh khichdi khalo
Karan made a face.
Monami: Thik hain. Main Faizi ke pas jati upon
Karan: Stop black mailing. Kha raha hoon
Monami: Shuru karo. Main bhi yahi khana kha rahi upon
Karan: Kyu? I mean tum mess me bhi to kha sakti thi sab ke sath.
Monami: Haan..woh..
Karan: Raani Sahiba...sirf each
Monami: Fine. Faizi ne kaha tha ki tum akele nahi khaoge or use bahar Jana tha. so.. Main aa gayi
Karan: Oh! (Thanking Faizi mentally) To Faizi ne kaha isi liye tum ayi.
Monami: Ha..Maine wahi kaha abi
Karan: Haan. Agar woh nahi kehta to tum nahi aati haha😔
Monami: Maine yeh kab kaha? Main kyu nahi aati? Zaroor aati. Tumhe aise kese chhod deti. Main tumhe aise nahi dekh sakti..(Flow flow me sach bol diya)
Karan was looking at her with a smile after hearing this.
Monami (Now realizing what she said and trying to cover up): Woh main doctor hoona, to kisi ko aise nahi dekh sakti
Karan: Haan..Haan. I understand Raani Sahiba 😊
They both ate dinner silently while Monami was scolding mentally herself for spitting the truth. She was slightly blushing also and seeing that Karan's smile was just getting wider.
