Was Edward Anderson's last phone call to Bella Scott making up for their final regret?
Bella's eyes were red, and she stayed silent.
"Yesterday, I had Clara monitor Kallie's phone since before dawn. Just before your wedding, Kallie gave the order for the attack. That phone call of hers happened to be to us. This cannot be a coincidence; Kallie planned everything and killed my brother. I will never let this vicious woman go!"
Cecelia Anderson clenched her fists.
She knew Edward was in danger but didn't send more people to protect him.
If she had acted faster, perhaps Edward would have been fine.
More than once, she asked herself why she couldn't have done better, why she couldn't have prevented this tragedy.
"He is Edward Anderson, not someone else; he won't just go like this." After a while, Bella found her voice, feeling powerless.
Edward was a torment that should have plagued them for a thousand years.
