Bugsy: You both ready to try and get this badge?
Quil: Not try, we will be getting this badge.
Bugsy: I love that confidence. Ledian, go.
He throws out his first Pokemon, Ledian. Quil uses Ember, but Ledian dodges it.
Bugsy: Use Supersonic Ledian.
He's hit, and as he goes for another Ember, he hits himself with it.
Bugsy: Now use Mach Punch.
Ledian hits Quil over and over again with multiple Mach Punches. Ledian then starts charging up a Focus Punch.
Bugsy: I got this move from a friend. Use Focus Punch!
Right before the attack hits, Quil shakes off the confusion and hits the Ledian with a critical Ember, burning it. The burn weakens Ledian enough for Quil to survive the punch. He then uses Smokescreen to obscure Ledian's vision.
Bugsy: Ledian, Mach Punch.
Ledian tries to punch through the smoke but Quil is no where to be found.
Bugsy: Hmm, this is a bit of a situation. Ledian, flutter your wings.
Ledian starts flapping it's wings even faster, blowing the smoke away. Along with the smoke clearing, Ledian spreads a glowing powder from it's wings. The glowing powder covers Quil.
Quil: What is this stuff?
Quil uses another Smokescreen to obscure Ledian's vision again.
Bugsy: Use Mach Punch.
Ledian punches Quil through the smoke.
Bugsy: Ledian's wings are covered in a glowing substance. With that substance on you I can see you no matter where you are. And don't even think about trying to remove it, it's nearly impossible.
Quil uses one more Smokescreen but it doesn't help. He's hit with Mach Punch over and over again. Quil then lights the flames on his back to use a Ember. This causes most of the powder on him to burn up.
Bugsy: Hm, I guess that's one way to get to get rid of the powder. The fire still makes you a huge target though. Ledian, Focus Punch.
Ledian begins to charge up the punch. He launches at him but as the smoke clears Quil isn't there. What Ledian is attacking is the Ember Quil fired off earlier. As Ledian is hurt by the Ember, the burn inflicted on it earlier causes it to faint.
Bugsy: I got a little too cocky at the end there. That won't happen again.
The experience gained from Ledian causes Quil to evolve into a Quilava.

Bugsy: Scyther, let's end this battle quickly.
