When Quil and Eli return to the group, Roco is already awake.
Roco: How did the gym go?
Quil shows off the badge.
Roco: I probably could've gotten it quicker if I was there.
Quil: Well you weren't so I guess we'll never know. Let's just keep going to collect the other badges.
Bay: We should head to Ilex Forest next. I remember Silver bringing it up and it's right outside of Azalea Town.
Roco: Yeah, the old guy I saved from the well, Kurt I think was his name, said we should head to the forest too.
Eli: I was the one who got him out of the well but okay.
Roco: Don't care, doesn't matter. Anyways, he came by earlier while you guys were still doing the gym challenge and gave me this weird Pokéball.
He pulls out an orange-yellow Pokéball with the letters "G-S" on it.
Roco: He said it had something to do with the forest. I don't remember the specifics but he wanted me to take it somewhere in there.
Gol: Looks like the forest is our next location. Maybe we'll even find Silver too.
The group enters the forest and immediately feels a sense of unease.
Bay: It's different from when we were here in that dream.
Silver: Will you all ever stop following me?
Silver, Ba, and the Gastly from the last encounter in the forest Hau, all appear in front of the group.
Quil: We'll stop when you give us back that Pokédex.
Silver: Well how about this? I'll give you back this device, only if you give me that Pokéball you have.
He points at the G-S Ball.
Roco: What do you want with this?
Silver: None of your business. Just know it'll help with my goal. So do we have a deal?
Quil: How about we keep the ball, take back the Pokédex, and turn you into the police?
Quil charges at Silver with a Flame Wheel. Silver transforms into Roco and blast him away with a Water Gun.
Silver: Well, I tried. Ba, Hau, let go.
The three turn around to leave but Quil runs after him. Hau envelopes the area in the purple gas surrounding his body. The gas suffocates the group, giving Silver and the others the opportunity to escape.
Gol: Ugh, not again. He can't keep getting away with this.
Roco: At this point I'm going to beat the Pokédex out of him. But what did he want with this ball?
Gol: I wish I knew. I still can't wrap my head around what him and Ba are after.
Quil: Let's chase after them. They couldn't have gotten far out of the forest.
