"It better be," the man narrowed his handsome phoenix eyes.
Elder Si bowed even lower, "I wouldn't dare deceive you."
The man who had been sitting there, upon hearing this, instantly teleported over and grabbed Elder Si's neck, "If I find out you're lying to me, consider the consequences."
Elder Si was so terrified that he turned pale and couldn't utter a word.
Seeing this, Barton Turner immediately knelt down, "Sir, my grandfather is old and may be confused at times. If he said something wrong, please don't hold it against him."
The man looked down at Barton Turner, "Not hold it against him, but hold it against you?"
Barton Turner kept his head lowered and dared not say a word.
A moment passed, and the man let go of Elder Si.
Thud.
Elder Si fell to the ground, gasping for air.
Barton Turner immediately went to help Elder Si up, "Grandfather, are you all right?"
"I'm fine," Elder Si said, hand on his chest.
