"He is here."
Morgan heard Damien as they walked in the woods and she knew what he was talking about. The man who had killed her lover wants to see her. If Damien had not urged her and accompanied her with Scarlet, she would not have agreed to see him.
"Are you okay?"
Scarlet turned her head to look at Damien and she gave a nod. "And you?" she asked him. "Did you finally settle with your father?"
She is aware that he left to see his father, but since she saw him at the bookshop, she noticed his mood was dull, and he seems to be concerned more about her. It made her wonder if she was in danger.
Actually, his mood had been off for a while now.
As she waited for him to answer, she heard a twig snap in front of her and she moved her eyes to the front to see Morgan stopping. They stopped too and saw a light flash in front of them.
