Others reacted the same as Jane Sampson and Coco Edwards, starting their cars and preparing to escape from the hotel's troubled area. The majority of people headed towards the filming location to hide; that had been Coco Edwards's initial thought, too, but Jane Sampson had a different idea.
"Let's head to the village entrance and see what's happening; we don't know how it's blocked, or how long it will be before the police can get in," Jane said.
"Okay," Coco agreed without hesitation, turning the car around and heading towards the village entrance.
However, what Jane and Coco hadn't anticipated was that there were people guarding the direction of the village entrance.
Halfway to the village entrance, someone from a higher point suddenly threw a stone down. With a loud crash, the windshield shattered.
