"Oh," Xaviar behaved like a good baby, immediately setting down his coconut juice, walking to Anna Ainsworth's side, picking up the bottle of champagne whose name he did not know, and pouring directly into Anna's half-drunken cup. Anna wanted to stop him, but Xaviar didn't give her the chance.
"Xaviar, pour a little less," Anna hurriedly tried to persuade him, thinking that despite the drink's sweetness, it probably had a strong kick.
"Dad said it should be to your heart's content, I certainly can't offer it to you half-heartedly," Xaviar insisted as he filled Anna's cup to the brim with the alcohol.
Anna looked up, and across from her, Jeremy Thompson was watching her with a smile at the corner of his mouth, his eyes carrying a profound meaning that Anna couldn't understand.
She took her gaze off Jeremy Thompson's face, looked down, and saw that Xaviar had filled her cup so much that it was spilling over—truly to her heart's content.
