The wheels were in motion. Soon, FCW's landscape would change, not just with his own evolution, but with the arrival of two women who would go on to change the business. And Sandro knew he was witnessing the beginning of something special.

Time had moved fast, and before Sandro knew it, Monday had arrived. Unlike previous weeks, he wasn't scheduled to defend his FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship. Instead, tonight was about something far more important, introducing his new persona to the world.

Only a select few knew about this, Dusty, Steve, Kofi because he was his tag partner, and the referee involved in the segment. Even the creative team had been caught off guard when they received a last minute notice that Sandro's usual title defense had been replaced with a segment slotted during tonight's main event.

The shift was unusual, but if there was one thing the FCW locker room had learned, it was that when Dusty and Steve made a call, it was for a damn good reason.

Backstage, Sandro was dressed in an outfit that made heads turn, a crisp white suit over a black t shirt, white dress pants, and polished black dress shoes. The FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship sat confidently on his shoulder, gleaming under the locker room lights.

His group of friends, Taylor, Bray, Drew, Stu, Sheamus, and Nick, immediately took notice of this when he came in right away.

"Whoa, who the hell is this?" Drew teased, smirking as he crossed his arms. "You runnin' for office or somethin'?"

Bray chuckled, rubbing his chin. "Nah, nah… I think he's about to go negotiate a high stakes business deal. You startin' a new corporation or business we don't know about, boss?"

Nick leaned against the lockers, shaking his head with an amused grin. "I don't think I've ever seen you this dressed up, man. What's the occasion?"

Sandro smirked, adjusting the championship on his shoulder. "Maybe I just wanted to remind you all that I'm the champ in style."

Sheamus laughed. "Aye, gotta admit, fella, you do look sharp. But this ain't just for show, is it?"

Kofi, who had been leaning nearby with a knowing smile, finally spoke up. "Let's just say… tonight's gonna be different. Real different."

Sandro shot Kofi a quick look. Not too much. This was still a secret. Kofi got the message and simply shrugged, playing it cool.

The rest of the group exchanged glances, intrigued but respecting the mystery. They knew something was up, but if Sandro wasn't spilling, they weren't going to push, at least not yet.

Meanwhile, tonight's show had kicked off with a bang.

Rebecca stood in the ring, gripping a microphone tightly, her expression a mix of frustration and determination. She was done playing second fiddle. Done being someone else's bodyguard.

A couple of weeks ago, she had finally snapped, unleashing all her pent up rage on Nicole, the FCW Divas Champion, and her twin sister, Brianna. The fans had witnessed it, and now they were here for the fallout.

"I've had enough," Rebecca said, her voice filled with raw emotion. "For weeks even months, I protected Nicole. I watched her back, made sure she didn't lose that title she loved so much. And how did she repay me? By treating me like I was nothing. Like I was disposable."

The crowd roared in support, clearly behind her as she continued.

"For too long, I let her walk all over me. I let her talk down to me, and control me. But that slap? That was the last straw. Nicole, you're so obsessed with keeping that title that you didn't even realize that without me, you wouldn't still be holding it around your waist or your dainty hands."

Before she could continue, Nicole's entrance music hit, cutting her off. The champion walked out, her FCW Divas Championship draped over her shoulder.

Beside her was Brianna, standing firmly by her side. Nicole held a microphone in her right hand, a smug, condescending look on her face as she stopped at the top of the ramp.

"Wow. Rebecca, I had no idea you were so… sensitive," Nicole sneered. "All that time I thought you were tough, but here you are, whining because I slapped you. Newsflash, sweetheart, you were my bodyguard. You worked for me. And guess what? You failed."

Rebecca's grip tightened on the microphone, but Nicole wasn't done. "You wanna talk about how I treated you? Please. You should be thanking me. Without me, you wouldn't even be relevant."

The crowd booed loudly, but Nicole ignored them, her confidence unwavering.

"But hey, if you're so desperate to prove yourself, let's see if you can do it on your own. Because trust me, Rebecca, without me, you're nothing."

Rebecca clenched her jaw, stepping forward as the tension thickened.

"You wanna see what I can do on my own?" she challenged. "Then why don't you put that title on the line and find out?"

Nicole smirked. "Oh, honey. You haven't earned that yet."

Brianna leaned in, whispering something into Nicole's ear, making the champion's smirk widen.

"But if you're so eager to fight," Nicole continued, "why don't you prove you deserve it first? Next week, you can face Brianna. And if you win… maybe, just maybe, I'll give you a shot at a taste of what it is like being at the top."

Rebecca stared at Nicole, then shifted her gaze to Brianna, who gave her a smug grin. "Fine," Rebecca said, her voice cold and steady. "But when I win… you won't have anywhere left to run."

Nicole simply laughed, waving her off as her music played again entering through the entrance area with Brianna, leaving Rebecca standing tall in the ring as the fans cheered for her.

The commentary team, having watched the heated exchange unfold, could barely contain their excitement after processing what had just happened.

"What a blockbuster announcement!" one of them exclaimed. "Next week, Rebecca has the chance to earn a title shot against Nicole, but first, she has to get through Brianna! And you know Nicole will do everything in her power to make sure that doesn't happen."

His broadcast partner nodded. "No doubt about it. But did you see that fire in Rebecca's eyes? She's been waiting for this moment, and next week could be the start of something huge for her."

As they continued to hype up next week's match, the titantron suddenly flickered to life, cutting to a live feed from the backstage area. The screen displayed Nicole and Brianna, walking down the hallway with smug expressions, laughing and mocking Rebecca's decision.

"I mean, really," Nicole scoffed, shaking her head, "she thinks she can just step up and take my title after failing to do her job and losing her match? Like she thinks it's that easy? Please."

Brianna smirked. "Honestly, I don't know what's more pathetic, the fact that she actually believes she can beat me next week or the fact that the fans are dumb enough to believe in her a loser."

The two shared a laugh, completely oblivious to the fact that they had just walked straight into an unexpected encounter.

Standing directly in their path were April and Davina. The two women stood their ground, their expressions serious, their body language making it clear that they weren't about to be pushed around.

Nicole's smirk quickly faded, and she let out an annoyed sigh. "Oh, look sis. If it isn't the pair of wannabe heroes." She rolled her eyes. "Why don't you two do yourselves a favor and get out of our way?"

Brianna crossed her arms, a look of disdain on her face. "Yeah, unless you want the two of us to move you forcefully."

April, never one to back down from a fight, stepped up to Nicole, getting right in her face. "Listen to me, Nicole," she said, her voice low and firm. "Next week, you better keep your nose out of Rebecca's match. Because if you even think about pulling any of your usual tricks, Davina and I will make sure you regret it."

Nicole scoffed, but there was a flicker of uncertainty in her eyes. She opened her mouth to respond, but before she could, a familiar voice cut through the tension.

"Alright, that's enough."

Dusty Rhodes, flanked by several FCW officials and security personnel, stepped into the scene. His presence alone was enough to stop the confrontation from escalating. He glanced between both parties, his expression stern.

"There's too much ridin' on next week's match," Dusty said, his voice carrying the authority of a man who had seen and done it all in the business. "I ain't gonna let this turn into a mess before we even get to the ring. Nicole, and Brianna, you two need to back off. April, Davina, the same goes for you."

April didn't break eye contact with Nicole, but she gave a small nod, taking a step back.

Dusty continued. "Rebecca's already got the odds stacked against her, and the last thing I need is outside interference takin' her shot away. So here's what's gonna happen, next week's match? It's gonna be one on one. No interference. No funny business. And if anyone, I mean anyone, decides they wanna get involved… I promise you, they'll have to deal with me."

Nicole forced a smile, though it was clear she wasn't happy. "Oh, Dusty, you know me. I would never do anything unfair."

Dusty gave her a look that said he wasn't buying it. "Just make sure you don't. Now, all of y'all, clear out."

The tension lingered for a moment longer, but eventually, Nicole and Brianna turned on their heels and walked off, with Nicole whispering something under her breath. April and Davina exchanged a glance, then followed Dusty's lead, walking off in the opposite direction.

The titantron feed cut off, and the crowd erupted into cheers.

"What a moment!" the commentary team exclaimed. "Rebecca isn't fighting this battle alone anymore! April and Davina just made it clear that if Nicole tries anything, she's got backup waiting!"

The fans were buzzing, the energy in the arena electric as the show rolled on. Several matches came and went, each one adding to the night's excitement, but there was still one final event that everyone was waiting for.

It was time for the main event.

The second match of the first round in the FCW North American Championship Tournament was about to begin.

The arena lights dimmed slightly, and the crowd's anticipation built as the ring announcer stood in the center, microphone in hand.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is the second match of the first round for the FCW North American Championship Tournament and it's scheduled for one fall!"

The energy in the arena was electric as the crowd eagerly awaited who will come out first. The lights dimmed slightly before the upbeat, energetic entrance theme of Taylor Rotunda blasted through the speakers. The moment his music hit, the fans erupted in cheers.

Taylor, though still relatively new to the FCW audience, had quickly gained a reputation as a hardworking, likable competitor with limitless potential. The tournament was a huge opportunity for him, and the fans were thrilled to see him get a shot.

As Taylor stepped onto the stage, a bright grin spread across his face. His enthusiasm was infectious as he walked down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans along the way. The ring announcer's voice echoed through the arena, adding to the excitement.

"Introducing first, from Brooksville, Florida… weighing in at 230 pounds… TAYLOR ROTUNDA!"

Taylor slid into the ring, pumping his fists in the air before climbing the turnbuckle to strike a pose for the fans. His passion and excitement were clear, and the crowd responded in kind. This was his moment to shine, and he was going to make the most of it.
