Chapter Eight
"Such a beautiful girl, how can you be so heartless to her?" Samantha Wood said with a smile, but her words were filled with obvious sarcasm.
The woman, seeing someone standing up for her, hurriedly pleaded in a wronged tone, "Sister, please help me persuade Lucas."
Lucas Graham, upon hearing this, felt even more stifled in his heart and said angrily, "Shut up and get lost immediately!"
The woman was startled by his sudden anger.
His face was dark, a complete contrast to his usually joking demeanor.
The woman didn't dare say anything else and had to run off aggrieved.
Samantha Wood shrugged her shoulders, "So boring; she ran off so easily. I was ready to help persuade you."
As she spoke, she turned to walk inside.
But her wrist was suddenly gripped tightly by him.
Before Samantha could react, he pulled her towards the elevator.
