Ryan Gregory pulled her close, facing him, "Don't bear everything on your own, whatever it is, remember, you still have me. I'll help you handle it, as long as you need."
What is a man's greatest failure?
He thought it must be that the woman he loves simply does not need him.
Sofia Hamilton's heart was in chaos. Meeting his slightly concerned eyes, she hesitated for a moment before speaking, "If I said I might... have caused some trouble, would you help me?"
"Caused trouble?"
Ryan raised an eyebrow; causing trouble seemed to be one of her strengths, but it was always minor, negligible problems.
He curved his lips into a smile, "What trouble could you possibly cause?"
"It's just…" Sofia didn't know how to put it into words.
Unable to say it, she decided not to.
She forced a smile, though it seemed somewhat feeble, "I'm a bit tired, let's talk about it tomorrow."
She wanted to turn and leave, but he held on to her, not letting go.
