Sofia Hamilton couldn't deny it and had to admit, "Yes."
"But, I..."
She was anxious to explain when Chairman Zhang cut her off with a stern face, "Then did you steal the project plan from Washington and the Gregory Family?"
"Project plan?" Sofia was confused. Could it be that Chairman Zhang thought she came to steal their cooperative business secrets? So he called her over, not just because she entered his room without permission, but also because business secrets went missing?
But she didn't take anything.
How could they disappear...
"I don't know what project plan you're talking about. I came here because..." She was desperate to explain but realized that her reason sounded so weak.
Who would believe it?
To say that she was tricked into coming here, Chairman Zhang would only think she was making excuses, trying to exonerate herself.
Sofia was at a loss for words, feeling wronged and indignant.
