Chapter Eight
All night, she felt uneasy.
As she had predicted, something indeed happened the next day.
Director Zhang made a phone call, insisting that Ryan Gregory bring Sofia Hamilton to his room.
Ryan Gregory frowned, clearly sensing that something was amiss.
He walked up to her and asked sternly, "Sofia, tell me, what exactly did you do yesterday?"
He had to know the details in advance if he was going to be able to help her!
Sofia bit her lip, and Ryan grew anxious, "Just now, Director Zhang asked me to bring you with me, his tone was pretty bad. Did you...?"
"Director Zhang?" Sofia frowned in confusion. What did this have to do with Director Zhang?
"Yes, last night..." Ryan's brow was furrowed as he was eager to know what she was hiding from him that would cause Director Zhang to call him so early in the morning with such an unfriendly tone.
Sofia was also confused, "Director Zhang called you to bring me over? Was it his room that I entered yesterday?"
