He opened the car door for her to get in, but Sofia Hamilton hurriedly pulled his hand away and instinctively took a step back, "I can't go register with you."
Their relationship could never go back to the way it was, and she felt that her decisions had always been wrong.
She couldn't selfishly treat Arthur Baker well just because he was good to her and see him as the only option to leave Ryan Gregory.
It was simply using him, unfair to Arthur, and irresponsible to herself.
Had it not been for Ryan's presence, she wouldn't have agreed to Arthur's proposal out of anger in the first place.
If she hadn't agreed, there wouldn't have been so much hurt...
Therefore, she couldn't let the hurt continue.
"Arthur, calm down, we can't go register."
