Chapter Six
As he approached step by step, Sofia Hamilton was thinking about the words Samantha Wood had said.
"You trust him too much. If he didn't sabotage things, why wouldn't Ryan Gregory be able to find you?"
She furrowed her brows, uncertain whom she should believe.
One had taken care of her for so many years…
The other was the man she loved.
If it really was Arthur Baker who had done it, why would he do such a thing?
Sofia's heart was filled with complexity. Looking into his deep dark eyes, she realized she couldn't see through him; perhaps she never truly knew what kind of person he was.
Arthur Baker came up before her. "How come you're here?"
"Just wandering around. What about you?"
"Me too."
