Amanda Smith smiled and nodded. Donald Johnson's words didn't weigh on her mind.
That man was too astute. Every choice he made was in his best interest.
Whether to stay, whether to let Lily Smith become the future heir of the Johnson Group, she couldn't give an answer right now.
She had to give Lily the choice.
If Lily was unwilling, she wouldn't force her.
They chatted for a while longer, and Amanda glanced at the time. It was already noon. She stood up, preparing to bid farewell to Donald Johnson. The man slightly lifted his head and said to her, "Thank you."
Amanda was taken aback for a moment.
"If you hadn't come back, Samuel might not have been as happy in his last days. He searched for you for five years, and luckily, you came back in the end... otherwise, he really would have died with regrets."
Amanda forced a smile, "Don't be so pessimistic, even a forty percent chance isn't definitive."
