Lily Smith hugged Amanda Smith's neck, her big eyes playfully fixed on the man in front of her as she asked, "Who are you?"
"I am your grandfather, oh!" Donald Johnson seemed quite fond of the little girl. His interest piqued, he leaned closer, rummaged in his pocket, and pulled out a candy. "Your name is Lily, right? Little Lily, come have some candy!"
Lily Smith looked disdainfully at the milk candy in his palm that was almost melted by his body heat, snorted, and turned her head away, indicating her disdain.
Donald Johnson's smile remained unchanged; in fact, he seemed even happier, his face wrinkles smoothing out.
"Just like my granddaughter, such good taste, not bowing down for mere benefits!"
Amanda Smith smiled awkwardly, walked over, put Lily Smith on the ground, then joined Samuel Johnson's side.
Samuel Johnson smiled as he reached out to hold Amanda Smith's hand and asked, "Do you know what I was just discussing with them?"
"What were you talking about?"
