"Mummy, it's Daddy!" Lily Smith spotted the figure right away, reacting quicker than Amanda Smith, and stood up to wave at Samuel Johnson.
Amanda Smith picked up Lily Smith and walked towards the door, with Samuel also having arrived at the entrance to the dessert shop, taking off his mask to reveal a face drenched with hot sweat.
"What happened to you?" Amanda Smith asked, taking out a tissue to wipe the sweat from his face. "Aren't you making yourself even more conspicuous like this?"
Samuel let out a warm breath, winked at Amanda Smith, and said, "Don't worry about it, the important thing is that I could come out."
When he came down, he realized he had been overthinking it. Whoever was providing his treatment wouldn't have expected him to head out, and his journey was incredibly smooth.
