Confirming all four purchases Caeruleum first uses the delete skill at the cost of 400,000 energy to remove the consciousness of the slog, then with the 'multitask' skill, Caeruleum splits his consciousness into 2 and sends the split portion into the slog, finally Caeruleum presets the teleportation destination to random.

With the slog in a 'ready to be deployed' state, Caeruleum waits patiently for the moment when Cuniculus is paying the least attention to his surroundings to deploy the Slog.

---

Finally embedding the seed in the last demon of Mokrail city, Cuniculus lets out a satisfied smile. With several thousand demons providing feedback, Cuniculus can feel the improvement, albeit slow, in his strength.

With every passing second Cuniculus feels what is akin to a drop of water entering the ocean.

Now in a jovial mood, Cuniculus skips his way to his chamber. Entering his room Cuniculus closes the door behind him, but just as the door is about to fully shut, Cuniculus feels a brief spacial fluctuation outside.

Shocked, Cuniculus quickly scans the surroundings, his perspective enveloping millions of miles before coming to a halt.

Frowning cuniculus lets out an indifferent shrug, his jovial mood returning to that of an eerie calmness. Laying on his bed Cuniculus closes his eyes, his thoughts sinking into the intricacies of his next course of action.

Fwoosh

Ploping against the ground, Caeruleum feels an odd, incongruous sensation coursing throughout his strangely shaped body.

Spending The majority of both his lives as a bipedal lifeform, Caeruleum marvels at the novelty of his new body.

Although Caeruleum finds it a bit difficult to control his movements, Caeruleum feels more and more intrigued. The sensations he feels when his body makes contact with the ground, the strange way information about his environment is being processed and received, or even the unique feeling he gets from nearby organisms all fill Caeruleum with a peculiar excitement.

After spending a few minutes to briefly understanding the characteristics of his body, Caeruleum turns his attention to his surroundings.

Rather than the previous five senses, Caeruleum receives information by sensing the flow of heat, vibrations, and other sources of energy.

Through such methods, Caeruleum finds himself in what seems to be a cramped hole. Trickling his way out, Caeruleum is hit with a wave of information. He senses a dense cluster of life force all around.

Most likely said life force represents the presence of a group of demons. Adding that to the large structures scattered throughout, Caeruleum concludes himself to be in some sort of city similar to Mockrail.

By sensing the surrounding sound vibrations and where they tend to bounce off of, Caeruleum gains a slight visual of the surrounding scenery.

His current 'vision' spans around three kilometers.

After swaying back and forth for a bit Caeruleum trickles his way back into the hole in preparation for a more thorough analysis of his situation.

With a swift command, Caeruleum calls for the System causing a panel to manifest.

Strangely, even without sight, Caeruleum is still able to 'see' the panel in front of him.

Letting out a satisfied sigh of relief, Caeruleum then tries to contact his other portion of consciousness.

Calming his thoughts, Caeruleum tries to feel for any sort of connection or 'calling' at any distant source but to no avail.

Frustrated with his failure, Caeruleum turns to the system for a possible solution.

Scrolling through a list of skills, Caeruleum finds several that are able to satisfy his current predicament, however...

[Insufficient energy]

[Inventory

Currency: Souls 0 | Energy 2]

[Absorption rate 537 per beat]

Swirling around in confusion, Caeruleum asks the system for clarification, his voice coming out as grotesque bubbly howls.

"Why the F*ck is there only 2 energy left, after making my previous purchases, I'm pretty sure I was left with around 1.2 million"

[As the host has duplicated his consciousness, the system took the initiative to clone itself as well, the clone of the system and the original can currently be considered two separate entities. If the host wants the System to merge the clone with the original, the host will have to combine his split consciousness.]

Letting out another bubbly howl, Caeruleum temporarily shelf the matter and switched his attention back to his situation.

"Show me my status"

[status

Name: Caeruleum Falco

Current state: alive (injured)

Strength: N/A]

"I'm assuming my injury stems from me splitting my consciousness?"

[affermitive]

"Well, setting all that aside, first and foremost It seems that I need to find a host."

Not wanting too many complications at the beginning, Caeruleum intends to find a demon in a near-death state.

Using the body of that demon, Caeruleum plans to explore this city and see exactly what this so-called abyss has to offer.
