Chapter 15 - CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Sharon arrived at the bakery and went straight to her office to calm herself down when Maggie knocked on the door.

"How's our newly wedded bride?" Maggie asked, smiling.

"I'm not a newly wed bride," Sharon replied.

"Whatever floats your boat. Now spill," Maggie said, sitting down.

Sharon was surprised by Maggie's new found attitude. "Maggie, I never knew you were like this," she said, taken aback.

"I know right? I've never had any friends, and now that I consider you my friend, why can't I be like this? So please, give me all the details," Maggie said excitedly.

"Well, where should I start from? Sharon asked, sighing.

"You can start from anywhere," Maggie replied eagerly.

"Okay, he's a total scumbag. He's rude, annoying and insultive. He's tongue is so sharp, and he doesn't care if the person he uses it one gets sad," Sharon rambled.

The smile on Maggie's face disappeared. "Oh!" she exclaimed. "I didn't think that. But that's all the more reason you have to make him fall for you," Maggie said.

"Fall for me?" Sharon asked, scoffing. "Please, I don't want him falling for me," Sharon said, eliciting an eye roll from Maggie.

"I hear you," Maggie said before smiling again. "I looked him up. He's so hot and handsome," Maggie added, wiggling her brows.

"He is? I haven't seen that at all," Sharon said.

"Liar, liar, pants on fire. You're lying now," Maggie teased.

"No, I'm not," Sharon replied as they both laughed. "So tell me, did we make any sales today?" Sharon asked, looking nervous to hear the answer.

 "Well, not bad," Maggie said.

"Not bad? What do you mean?" Sharon asked.

"Did you know that hotel mania belongs to your husband's best friend, Ryan Sullivan?" Maggie asked.

"Oh! I didn't know that, but what about it?" she inquired.

"Well, hotel mania ordered 100 of everything we have," Maggie revealed.

"That's nice of him but… what? 100 if everything? Are you kidding me, Maggie?" Sharon exclaimed.

"I wish I was. Did you know he's a hotelier? He has three more branches around here. Hotel mania is his first one, and he said if his clients likes it, then we'll be able to deliver for all three hotels," Maggie explained as Sharon screamed with excitement.

"Oh my God, this is great news! Why didn't you tell me sooner? We need to start baking. We can't afford to waste time," Sharon said, standing up from her seat.

"Seat down, boss. I haven't finished my reports yet," Maggie said, causing Sharon to looked shocked.

"Wait, there's more?" she asked eagerly.

"Yes, there's more," Maggie chuckled. "Feeling scared already?"

"Girl, spill it out. I'm dying of estasy already," Sharon urged.

"You don't need to get up. I've handled it?" Maggie assured her.

"You've handled it? What do you mean by you've handled it," Sharon asked, puzzled.

"We received the orders yesterday," Maggie explained as she sat down. "What do you think would happen if your employees hear we have an order- 100 of everything, no less? Of course, they would jump at the opportunity. And we've never heard had such opportunity before. So we started baking. We've successful baked 80 of everything," Maggie said.

"80!" Sharon exclaimed as Maggie nodded in confirmation.

"They are delivering it already, and boss, at this rate, we don't have enough man power and people to handle the deliveries. We need to start hiring," Maggie said.

"I understand. You should have called me", Sharon replied.

"We wanted to surprise you," Maggie explained.

"Well, you've surprised me. Thank you but about hiring, we can't for now. We need to expand this place. It's too small," Sharon said, looking up the ceiling.

"I agree with you on that. But we need funds," Maggie remarked.

"I'll think about that. So, any customers today?" Sharon asked.

"Only a few. Peter and I had to handle them. It was so hectic and tiring," Maggie replied.

"Don't worry. It won't be like that for long," Sharon assured, standing up. "We need to go help out," Sharon said as they left her office.

"And before I forget, his secretary called," Maggie said when they entered the kitchen.

"Good morning, everyone," Sharon greeted as they replied in unison. "Please keep up the good work," Sharon encouraged.

"So, what did the secretary say?" Sharon inquired.

"We're to make new deliveries every three days," Maggie explained.

"Wow! That's huge. He must really have a lot of clients," Sharon remarked.

"Are you kidding me? That place is massive. It has normal rooms, VIP rooms and VVIP rooms. It's big and enormous," Maggie elaborated, as Sharon remembered Ethan had his own room there.

"Maggie, I need a helping hand," Peter shouted from across the kitchen.

"Go help him," Sharon instructed Maggie, who left to assist.
