Raven hummed in thought as he raised an arm and blocked an attack by the twins trying to hit him with a double team kick.
In a moment he grabbed their legs and chucked the two far away with great strength. The slam as they hit whatever stopped them was pleasing.
He paused that thought, why was he pleased to be hurting his bestfriends? He should NOT be pleased about that. Even with his sadistic tendencies.
"I have to go." Raven said just as the twins came running back with great momentum, he turned into his crow form and flew off.
"Man, he must be going through something and really not wanting to talk about it huh?" The twins asked themselves aloud before they started the long treck back to Hogwarts from deep in the forbidden forest, he was supposed to be their fast route back via portkey.

Raven sighed as he perched on a window and stared out fields that made up the surroundings of Hogwarts and the quidditch pitch, which he could see a game happening right now with his enhanced crow eyes.
"Ka?" He decided to go watch the game and took flight, landing on top one of the bleachers. It was quite interesting sport, admittedly that was because he enjoyed throwing hands as much as the next guy, but still, could use a little something more.
"Kaka?" Raven let out a confused sound as he watched two gryffindor players try to keep a ball from hitting his apprentice, but it just kept coming at her, his eyes narrowed and he saw a faint trace of… elven magic?
Letting his senses flow properly he followed the chain of magic and saw the culprit. A house elf was controlling the ball, while looking like they didn't want too do that.
However he didn't sense anything malicious from the house elf, so he choose to leave it be, after all if his apprentice could handle this much, she wasn't worthy of being his apprentice.
His choice in apprentice wasn't proven wrong as Rose ducked under the ball and flew forward towards a smug looking Malfoy who started looking around for the snitch, but didn't see, and the reason why? It floated right behind his ear.
"Kakakakakaka." His crow laugh hidden by the roaring cheers of the crowd as Rose grabbed the snitch, but in that moment as she held it up, the ball choose that time to slam into her arm, hard.
Arms are not supposed to bend that way. Nor is his apprentice supposed to be harmed the moment the game is over.
With a crow growl, he focused and aimed his killing intent at the house elf and was pleased when it popped away immediately.
However he was further angered, and unnoticed by him, until three secinds later he saw the fool who attempted to teach a joke of defense class vanish Rose's bones.
One of his feathers popped out and flew forward, covered in his magical energy and seemed to turn invisible before it flew into the man's chest, his magical core to be more specific.
An instinctual understanding of what just happened came to him, he had somehow cursed the fool without even needing a spell. He just did it.
The Curse of Haunted Pipes.
The cursed subject will only ever hear haunting music at all times, and in times of battle they may find themselves spontaneously bursting out into dance for no reason at all.
He liked it.
With a pleased kaka, he flew away, he'd wait at the hospital wing for her to arrive.
When they eventually did, he watched as Madam Pompfry had to set her arm up in a certain way and confine her to sleep in the hospital wing for the night while her bones regrew using Skelegro potion.
Which is why he's really glad his bones can naturally reform on their own without external assistance.
An so he watched and waited from the window seal, waiting and waiting for visiting hours to be done and the nurse to return to her room attached to her office.
With a single flap of his feathered wings, he was perched at the end of her bed and staring Rose down with a look.
"I don't speak crow." She said dryly and he sighed before his form in a single moment returned to human.
"You should learn." He replied cheekily as he moved near her arm and waved his hand over it. He could see the linger bits of Lockhart's magic inside the area still fighting against the potion, but slowly losing as the bones formed back into existence slowly.
"Potions are truly interesting." He muttered to Rose's confusion, but he didn't care as he focused and withdrew the magic from her body and stored it away inside a crystal he just created. The magic had a weird texture to it he wanted to check out.
Rose grunted as her bones started regrowing at a much faster rate, but of course with what she had gone through at the Dursley's, the pain wasn't much.
Raven smiled momentarily as he stored the crystal in his pocket and looked at Rose with a hard stare.
"You need more training." He declared and she glared at him and he huffed. "It's just an observation." He added on as she sighed.
"Well you're my teacher. Any faults of mine, are yours." Rose said and he growled lightly at her before sighing as he moved to sit and a chair formed under him. Just a throne made of extremely valuable materials and extremely soft cushioning.
"Perhaps it is, but I supposed I can't expect you to be like me. After all, I'm special. There is none who are better then me, I'm the best after all." He egotistically said with full belief in his superiority.
(Future BBD's: "Hehehe")
Rose stared at him with twitching eyes. Leave it to him to try and push his ego up, however she also worried as before Raven just made jokes about this kind of thing, but now it felt real.
"Looks like it's time to go." He mused suddenly as he stood up and waved his wand vanishing the throne and taking on his crow form again and flying off, a single black feather left behind.
In the next moment Madam Pompfry looked through and saw the crow feather and sighed as she waved her wand and closed the window while locking it up.
"My apologies dear." She said as she returned to her room. If she knew what happened, she didn't say anything.

Raven hummed as he tossed the jewel he stored Lockhart's mana in towards his future to do list of things to study or work on.
For now, he wanted to work on Project Damocles.
With a hum, he summoned the familiar large blue gem and felt the mana inside of it, briming at near max capacity of itself. With the amount of mana stored in here, he's pretty sure he could have destroyed Behemoth in one shot, at the cost of using all the mana inside of it.
"The mana quality inside is excellent, as expected of my mana, but I would prefer the output be larger, I need multiple of these things. Hmm, perhaps I can multiple of them instead of using just one of them. One is great, multiple are even better. Increased output and capacity means greater results." He mused out loud as four more gems were created. However each one of the four were different colors.
Red. Black. White. Blue.
The gem in his hand suddenly became a mix of those colors. Forming a swirling mass of colors inside.
With a hum, he split his current mana supply in four and stored it inside each orb.
Red with pure fire mana.
Black with pure shadow/darkness mana.
White with pure holy mana.
Blue with pure dawn energy.
He huffed as he felt his empty reserves working on refilling themselves and set the orb down and started sketching. He first had to design the project anew to work with the new additions.
Once ye had a rough sketch, he began preparing possible runic formulas that would work well with the new system and prevent any clashing.
He listed many possible formulas that would work well with the new system, and he hummed with another thought, a new system deserved a new name for the subsystems.
Project Damocles, Burning Dawn.
It was good. He'd probably rework the name in the future though once the project was completed or had to be restructured to work properly.
For now, he'd have to fill the four orbs with the mana amount equivalent to the main orb. The master orb.
A wave of his hand had them shrunk and stored away inside his earring as little gem accessories.

If you have any questions feel free to ask, but until then ima head out, got some much needed sleep to catch up on. Plus I need to be up early to meal prep for the week, I'm trying to spend less on fast food which used to consist of like laugh my calorie intake, so working on dealing with the loss of calories right now.
It'll be good for me, but dealing with it is not fun at all. I'm trying though, and I've heard that's what most important.
Anyway I'll leave you all here until next chapter.
