Raven giggled a quite scary laugh by everyone's faces in the chamber, even the youngest Weasley girl shivered, though wether that was from the cold or the laugh was up in the air, but Raven will take it as the laughs fault.
"My biggest annoyance? I very much doubt that a child is such a being." Diarymort said with a laugh and Raven only smiled before he kicked a slightly melted pebble right into the arm of Diarymort who only let it fly through him.
"See fool, you couldn't even do anything-"
Raven snorted and cut of Diarymort.
"I gotta say, that's an impressive technique, perhaps it's an ability. Your soul is locked inside of some item, and you are projecting the soul out of it to have a form, and by using that girls life force, you are gaining a physical form again, to craft the perfect body to match the soul by letting the body form directly around the soul so its exact." Raven said with a hum as the two awake people looked at him in shock and awe.
"What? It's quite a simple deduction. Honestly, I may take some inspiration in what you're doing to make my own technique to appear placed without leaving. Hm, perhaps an illusion containing a bit of my life force that is sent back when the illusion is stopped?" Raven mused aloud as he casually held a hand up and blocked a curse and then flicked it away.
"Hm? Was that a bug?" Raven had noticed of course, but playing you're enemies always works well, ok not always, just a lot of times. Especially when they're weaker then you.
"Speak to me, Slytherin, Greatest of the Hogwarts Four." Diarymort said as the giant statues mouth opened and out slithered the basilisk.
Raven instantly shoved a pair of black full eye cover glasses onto Rose, he had made them on his way here and designated a formula for it.
He himself wouldn't need them.
"Awww, did you need grandpapy Slytherin's pet snake to deal with a mere child?" Raven used taunt, it was super effective.
"Kill him!" Diarymort ordered angrily as the basilisk tensed itself up and shot forward aiming to swallow or bite down on Raven who moved out of the way while gently shoving Rose and the Weasley girl out the way.
"Hey you missed!" Raven cackled as he slapped his butt towards the basilisk and shook it. "Come on you scaley beast, come and taste my ass!"
"Why aren't you dying!?" Diarymort demanded shocked and Raven's cackled traversed around the chamber.
"You think such a weak pair of eyes is enough to kill me? It couldn't even bring down mid class dead apostles, it can't bring me down. I regularly beat those two down." Of course as much as he loved taunting, he wouldn't reveal his techniques, he's a magus, not an idiot. Mostly.
"You damn filthy-"
"Watch your tounge, there are children present!" Raven casually waved his finger while jumping up and landing on the basilisk head. "Huh, I can see why Salazar would want to have this, the views great." Raven laughed as he hoped off the basilisk as its tail slammed down on its own head.
"You damn creature! Keep Salazar Slytherins name off your filthy tongue!" Diarymort yelled angrily and Raven cackled.
"Awww, is the little diary upset, have a pebble." Raven chucked a pebble from the ground right into the diary which made the form of Dairymort fizz out for a moment before forming up properly again.
"How dare you, when I regain my form I will…!" Diarymort started listing and ranting the ways he was going to torture Raven who was cackling and gesturing to Rose to get her damn wand back.
"You know, when I met your present self, he was much nicer. Willing to offer my to work at his side and everything, even if he looks ugly as hell, he's at least got charisma and style. I mean stealing the body of another person, grade a stuff." Raven laughed at Dairymort before he dodged a volley of spells and snake bits and smacks.
He only wished the damn girl would get her wand back already, you're losing points apprentice. No light spell for you at this point!
"Hey did you ever hear the story of how a baby sent you running with your soul tucked between your legs. It's great. Except for the death of two people, but whatever, the past is the past, which is where you belong." Raven laughed as he summer saluted off the basilisk and fired a volley of piercing spells into its side as it roared out angrily and its tail flew much faster at Raven who was unfortunately in the air and sent flying into a wall before being smacked over and over into the ground.
"Point made." He groaned before his face slumped into the ground.
Raven grumbled as he laid on the ground praying to anyone that Lorelei never hears this story, he wouldn't live it down for playing with his food this much.
With a groan, he sat up and froze as he saw Rose shielding the Weasley girl with her body and getting bit in the arm, he could see the venom being pumped into her body. He could faintly see flames trying to combat the venom, but they were slowly loosing power.
With a sudden burst of speed, he appeared and pulled Rose off the fang and punched the basilisk with all his strength sending it flying and tearing a bit into its chin.
"No one touches her!" He snarled out as his fingers turned black and his eyes teal. A gleaming bow made of Dawn Energy formed in his hands before he fired several arrows at the basilisk who slithered out of the way, but was still impaled by half of the arrows.
"Avada K-"
"Not now! Shut your trap!" Raven snarled as he stomped on the diary and the form flickered enough for Rose's wand to fall out its grip and he waved his hand summoning it to his side before firing another volley of dawn arrows.
The basilisk roared out in pain, however in that moment a great sword made of dawn energy impaled through the tops of its head and into its brain. It let out one last roar before flopping down dead.
Raven covered in basilisk brain parts, blood and venom stood a menacing sight as he slowly walked forward as the great sword turned into a scythe.
"Your time is up." Raven said with a smile filled with malevolence. "Your soul… is mine." He finished with a happy smile before the scythe impaled the diary, the venom of the basilisk on the tip of the scythe.

Rose Rhea Potter was grateful that he had shown up, however she also despised the fact that she needed to be saved again.
It was only due to Raven she had managed to survive last year against Voldemort, he had stalled him and annoyed him till she had exploded off the latent energy stored in the stone. Supercharging her raging flames.
He seemed to know everything, how to do everything. Nothing was a challange for him. Everything was done effortlessly.
She was jealous, she wanted to be like him, free and strong. Able to do whatever whenever.
She had learned a lot under him, she was confident in her skills to duel properly against sixth years with confidence.
Yet, she still felt so weak, so she asked Professor Flitwick for help too, he taught her proper fluid dueling technices that fit her. He taught her even more fire spells.
Despite it all now, here she lay dying, her life momentarily only prolonged due to Raven, again.
She just wanted to be strong, to stand at his side.
Watching him slowly walking forward with the glowing scythe, she felt herself gurgling on her own blood. Her flames slowly dying down and losing to the venom.
She only wished she was like that.
"Do you wish to be strong?"
As strong as Raven.
"To stand at his side?"
Yes. To stand beside him as an equal.
"To burn all your enemies to ashes?"
Yes, to prove her strength and stand beside him.
"Will you burn all of creation to ash. All for your goal?"
No, she will burn all of creation and beyond. To protect him.
"Then take these flames child of the eternal last flame. Burn all that stands in your way to ash."
Yes, she'd burn it all, to stand by his side, no matter the cost.
With the last bit of remaining strength she had left in her, she rose, ha she can make puns too Raven, to the shock of the two guys looking at her, and roared to the heavens and beyond as flames licked off her body and shot out, firing at a second basilisk she noticed coming out the statue behind Raven.
With that done, she fell backwards, only to be caught by Raven. She could feel all the poison had been burnt away, she would live.
"Not a game anymore?" She felt herself say with a small smile as she embraced unconsciousness.
"No more." She heard and was fully unconscious.

Raven stared in awe at Rose, those flames had been nothing short of primordial in nature. Even his eyes couldn't focus properly on their nature, all he knew was that they were eternal and burned out the venom in her body and around it.
However as she started falling backwards he moved and caught her, using that time in between to use a spell to clean himself up, and her as well.
"Not a game anymore?" She asked as she started entering unconsciousness.
"No more." He promised as she smiled and fell asleep.
"I promise, no more games today." He frowned as he gently set her down, and with a single swing of his arm he called the diary to him with wind manipulation and grabbed the soul inside of the diary, cutting off the life force stolen from the youngest Weasley and returning it to her.
"No more games, so the games end now Tom Marvalo Riddle. You almost took something precious from me, so I'll take your soul, all that is Tom Marvalo Riddle, all that is Voldemort, I will take it all away, you will go down in history as a fool who tried to swing above his ballpark, and failed." Raven said as he ripped the soul out of the diary and crushed it into smitherns.
The bastard didn't deserve an afterlife.
Looking around, he sighed, all of this could have been avoided if he had taken things serious, not played any games.
Yet, he felt a sickening smile form on his face, it was so fun, he just wanted to play one more game-
He slapped himself and took on his fully human form as he followed the path to the entrance. Rose and the youngest Weasley floating behind him with a causal levitation spell.

After more walking and breaking down a door since he didn't know the password, he found himself walking towards the hospital wing where he found Albus comforting a crying woman.
"Did someone die?" Raven like always, had no tact. "Also can Madam Pompfry take a look at these two, would he appreciated." Raven smiled as he levitated them down on a bed and then laid on one himself before passing out after laying an illusion over himself, just in case his true form revealed itself.
He smiled at avoiding having to report anything for now. That can be Rose's job. Not his.
